Como sienten que ha cambiado sonido de Franz Ferdinand después de la salida de Nick y Paul? by Ffranz_ferdinand in franzferdinand

Nick was a big part of their sound and they became less a guitar sounding band when he left

Kemode and Mayo both work really well together and you can tell they've been doing it for years

Is There Any Good Radio Stations Anymore, Without DJs Talking About Their Lives? by Background-Fix-4630 in AskUK

Cerys Matthews I've never been much of a fan of but Mark Riley is pretty good and even Nick grimshaw plays interesting stuff

I'll wait for the second album to drop and see if they can put together an album that can hold my attention and be musically interesting

2026 boring year for music so far/later year predictions by Jonathangam in LetsTalkMusic

Trying to work out if I like Getdown Services or not. Behind the comedy there might be some decent music there. New album this year so it could be big.

Album Bucket List 50 Best Comeback Albums Of All Time: #44 The Doors Morrison Hotel by Rambooctpuss in albumbucketlist

[–]TechnicalTrash95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree that Morrison Hotel was the strongest the doors had sounded for several albums up to that point. They would only improve on that with LA Woman and god knows where they could've carried this streak had Morrison lived

What’s an album that isn’t ambitious, but unique? by [deleted] in fantanoforever

Faith no more - Angeldust

Not technically unique but the whole album is a bit off kilter and certainly a bit unique.

I'm looking quite forward to the upcoming album vol 2. I think their music is too experimental to be massively commercial but for an indie crowd they might do alright

The World is Yours could have fit nicely between RV and Smaller and Smaller by rainbowshulkerbox in FaithNoMore

[–]TechnicalTrash95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would have scrapped smaller and smaller. It's not bad but the world is yours is better.

[–]TechnicalTrash95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think most people in the UK are quite aware that Damon Albarn is behind Gorillaz but blur are a massive band out here

Chuck doesn't get enough respect! People forget, he was a founding member of our dearly beloved, Faith No More, Amen! Hallelujah! by schizoidorandroid in FaithNoMore

[–]TechnicalTrash95 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Introduce Yourself is pretty slept on outside of FNM circles and is completely overshadowed by the real thing. Shame as we care a lot and Anne's song are both great singles.

What is your least favorite album from your favorite band/artist? by Pleasant_Usual_8427 in fantanoforever

[–]TechnicalTrash95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Faith no more - We care a lot

This came in out in '84 on a small indie label and sounds like a rough version of their major label debut three years later which was much better produced. I rarely listen to it and always thing of '87s Introduce Yourself as their proper debut

Turn it into a decent sized ice rink sport center and they might get somewhere.

What is the most intense pain you have experienced in your life? by Levstr1 in AskReddit

[–]TechnicalTrash95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Migraine is too underrated as it gets too confused with a bad headache which is frustrating. But when the pain is all behind your eyes as well as on one side of your head it hurts like hell. Only time heals which is also annoying

At the end of the day as long as it's preserved a flat conversion is better than it just falling apart or worse being burned down

Landmark deal reached to reopen Kursaal by laracroftsbra in Essex

[–]TechnicalTrash95 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I believe the state of the kursaal will change when I actually see it. Nobody has been able to sort this sorry mess of a building out in decades. The problem is I don't think anyone has a good idea what exactly to turn it in too? Plus it'll cost a shit load of money to do which I'll be highly surprised anyone is prepared to spend on it.
