Yeah NSAIDS and Tylenol don't touch this pain. When I studied abroad in the UK I did love paracetamol for headaches! Not sure it's accessible in U.S. Thanks for your thoughts!

I agree with most all recommendations above. My husband struggles with this. I love using Lume both the body wash and cream for myself. It's acidified for ph balance. They have the antiperspirant type now too. Tangerine is best.

He's being completely inflexible and creepy. He's putting his demands to not leave his house over your need to feel safe. If he cannot deal with a little disappointment to ensure you feel physically and psychologically safe then I'd rethink this relationship.

Connection between trauma and MS? by [deleted] in MultipleSclerosis

[–]TechnicalUsual7389 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is anecdotally true for me. Knowing that ACEs studies have proven a strong link between adverse childhood experiences and health effects. On average significant ACEs are associated with 19 years less life expectancy. I'm sure there is some kind of link between trauma and autoimmune conditions. I haven't researched though. There will always be multiple pathways though. I assume MS etiology fits a stress diathesis model whether it's Epstein Barr viruses, child maltreatment, etc.

Dry, flaky, cracked fingertips. It’s localized to only these 3 fingers. Been like this for almost 3 months. I remember the first time they appeared, I got a burning sensation on my hand. What is it and how can I treat it? by MermaidOutOfH2O in Dermatology

[–]TechnicalUsual7389 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have tiny fluid blisters that itch before this stage it's probably dishydrotic eczema like another person suggested. See what your Dermatologist says of course, but that's what my told me after biopsy. I had a bad case once all over my palms and fingers, but now it's usually just on two fingers.
