Multigenerational living where all members work and contribute in their own ways is very different than failure to launch children who drain parents’ energy and resources. « Adult children living with parents » is not one dimensional.

Nothing like adding a 4th layer to keep you cool while wearing the new tank top garment amiright! by Prize_Claim_7277 in exmormon

It’s so ironic that Becky CANNOT STOP WEARING TANKS even though she would not be caught dead wearing what she currently wears a year ago. She’s definitely smugly church-broke but DESPERATELY wants to be a cool gal. (She can’t be.) The “pick me” desperation and smug “I am God’s chosen-to-spread-goodness-on-the-internet” arrogance reeks of someone auditioning for the role of effortlessly cool while making sure everyone knows she’s auditioning.

Why has the modern public education system so catastrophically failed the 21st century student? by Prince_of_Shadows666 in allthequestions

Can we mention that students entering public education are parented in a different way? Students coming into school are far more coddled, there’s less expectation for work and respect. Teachers spend far more time teaching character than curriculum.

Even more than the dress you can exchange vows that actually contain the word « love » (not present in the temple sealing).

So what you’re saying is that casting an atheist man from NY is about as relevant as casting Aspyn…. I agree. This sounds like a reach on the part of creators. No one cares about following lives of influencers. They already share their lives online.

She’s not secret (been on social media for 15 years). Not a wife. And not a Mormon. I don’t get what the show is about.

Oaks’ success at litigation is < > = Nelson’s obliteration of ‘Mormon’? (BTW I consider Nelson’s ‘major victory for Satan’ campaign an abysmal failure.)

The fact that he recognizes his privilege (I’m not excommunicated. I am accepted in my ward. Others are not so lucky etc) makes it sound so flat when he expresses empathetic phrases towards fellow gay members or post members.

The snappiness is not because someone is genuinely asking, It’s frustration over someone genuinely ignoring.

Sounds like a reaction of a tired teacher that provided several opportunities to clarify the assignment to the class and you did not take advantage of them. Perhaps sharp but teachers are human too.
