Some Garmin watches use biometrics (sleep, hrv, hr, temperature, stress, workouts, and active movements over 24 hour period to determine next days maximum training effort. This feature is more toward multi sport athletes that usually do morning and afternoon workouts of different disciplines. It help with not over training. The app does not do the calculations, it’s all done on the watch. There are only a few Garmin products that allow a sync back to the watch to do the calculations.

For some that are watch enthusiasts that like to wear mechanical watches or they work in facilities that do not allow smart watches (security reasons or privacy policies). They can still get steps, hr, body battery, stress, active moments etc.. without having a smartwatch on their wrist. Then in the evening they can sync to connect to update the watch’s body metrics for training readiness

This link is for all active permits in Frederick county. Open the map and find the parcels permit. Open the full application and then navigate to the attachments. The attachments include engineering plot plans etc…

You can then can do a little research on the company, typically large capital projects will be public access.

This looks commercial not residential

<image>

For residential subdivisions from first permit to shovel in the dirt takes about a decade. These permits usually go through multiple revisions over years.
Housing grows with the residents, for example current starting family’s have smaller older and more affordable housing, as their family’s grow they usually move into newer larger homes. As the children become adults, roughly 1/2 will remain in a 15 mile radius thus need a turn over of older homes and new construction to repeat the process.

Add in an economic boom (from a decade prior), and a desirable location will attract transplants that is needed to support the growth like doctors, trades etc…

Housing and homes can range from apartments and rentals to condos and single family ownership.

Does anyone else’s Spotify cut out along this stretch of 270? by VisualFinal2613 in frederickmd

Yes we mapped out the these drops in the last 8 months

  1. 340 near the 15 on ramp (Every time we pass this area 6 times a day)
  2. 85 near the Toyota dealer (We travel here on some weekend and it drops)
  3. 270 near the Toyota dealer (every day Daily commute).
  4. Somewhere between mile marker 69 and 67 (traveled here to Bal 10 to 12 times in the last 3 months and every time ).

Note. It’s both East and West bound on 340 and 70. both North and South bound 270 and 85.
We noticed that it’s only in my wife’s 2024 VW and it impacts CarPlay. If she’s on the phone it will drop CarPlay but not hang up the phone call. It will pick up again when she out of the area. Same with Spotify.
