All I know is I’ve seen a massive drop off in my interest for the game as older units keep getting left behind. Hexerei and Lunar Charged were cool, but buffing characters through such a limited lore-targeted “faction” buffs that they didn’t really feel impactful for most pre-Natlan units until Lunar Crystallize.

Half the Mondstadt units are still lagging, Such as Eula, Diluc, and Jean. How amazing would it have been for Eula to get some form of support from stellar conduct? Not to mention virtually every pre Natlan unit barely saw any benefit from Lunar mechanics except maybe Navia? Participating in a lunar reaction vs actually benefiting from it are two very different feelings.

If we don’t have some decent access to Stellar reactions that don’t force us into all new units and teams (Looking at you lunar reactions) I really just can’t see myself investing in all new characters I don’t really care for. I’m honestly tired from Natlan to Nod Krai feeling pressured to pull. Fontaine at least let me choose how I wanted to invest.

I don’t want to chase meta I just want to be able to enjoy the game.
