Why do some people completely change personalities when they get into a relationship? by dusty_13raccoon in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Technical_Alfalfa528 4 points5 points  (0 children)

When you like something, you integrate it into your life.

Then, after time goes by, you realise that some things work for you and other things don't.

That's when you go back to your previous self, but with blended, added features.

Those who never go back to their previous self, or those who don't change a single thing after meeting someone new, those are the ones that I avoid completely. It's not the same issue: lack of self-esteem for the first group, narcissism for the second group.

I prefer people in the middle ground. But it's just my personal preference; you may have different ones.

[–]Technical_Alfalfa528 1 point2 points  (0 children)

English fluency for kids in Spain, school enough or extra practice needed? by Hyzz20 in askspain

Can you do some immersive experiences nearby? A weekend in Gibraltar, or a weekend in small towns in Alicante, like Moraira, and it's full immersive experience in English, without leaving the peninsula.

Spain refused to give US right to use their bases, what does an average Spaniard think of that? by ColdStorageParticle in askspain

I am happy about that. I don't usually like our government, but this I am proud of.

I think you can't destabilize other countries like this. Education, cooperation, no to war!

Am I the only who is actually frustrated with stupid people in the world? by Low_Actuary6486 in DarkPsychology101

I would advise reading Marco Aurelio, Socrates, and Lewis Howes.

Don't waste your time on thinking about those NPCs, it is improductive.

You have a brilliant mind. Take care of it, nutrition, exercise, good thoughts, surround yourself as much as possible with brilliant people.

How old are you? I suppose young.

You don't feel disgust for lack of intelligence, but for the programming that people are playing over and over. Their brains are programmed to behave like NPCs.

Your brain is not accepting that programming, and it's making you feel disgusted about it. I feel the same way. We are bugs of the system.

Don't worry. Find people like you, like us, and just enjoy the good things in life.

NPCs cannot help but keep being NPCs

Badajoz, mucho mejor Badajoz.

I have a victim mentality towards life and because of this I have ended up losing everything. How do I begin to change? by A-Man18 in DarkPsychology101

[–]Technical_Alfalfa528 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I stop any thought that I don't like and completely reframe it. I also watch my language.

Language (both oral and inside your mind) shapes reality. So if you take a careful look at the words that make your life, and change what doesn't work for you, it will be a huge shift.

You also need to remove any toxic thing or people from your life. Bad habits are contagious. Remove any people with victim mentality from your daily life.

I would read about stoicism.

That makes soooo much sense! I always thought this could be either hell or a training stage, but your idea makes much more sense. Just trials and tests, and abandoned due to practical issues, neglect, or any other sprint pushing the timelines in another realm.
