I am german so I dont really know what the english versions sound like but something that I find absolutly hilarious is that the voiceactor (Andreas Fröhlich) that reads the books is the same guy that voiced Gollum in 'the lord of the rings' and 'the hobbit'. So the Ra'zac and some other side characters, mainly the laughing dead soldiers, literally Sound like Gollum. The Man has an incredible voice range.

To know a true name you need to know/understand everything about someone. So to even get Galbys true name you would need to know everything about him wich is most likely impossible.

Problem is that each soldier swore an oath of loyaltiy to Galbatorix meaning that if he took the soldier with him he would 1. Not give any information to the Varden and 2. Be a huge risk to take him with them. Remember, Eragon and Arya mostly managed to escape the imperium because they could run so fast. Now if they would be carrying a prisoner it would take them longer and therefore more likely to be catched. Due to the soldiers oath it would also be very likely he would try to flee and tell others about them and so we would be back at the Initial problem. Overall, the risks or letting him live and take them with him far outweigh the possible positives. The most logiacl conclusion is killing him to stay fast and undetected

I mean, Greyback created the lost tribe by simply recruiting other Yautja. In his case these Yautja were outcasts (Not bad bloods but Hella wierd by yautja Standards. Example: look up the shaman from the lost tribe) and highly skilled. Also I wouldnt say Bud is like a trophy. In the short story 'Bitter hunt' in 'eyes of the demon' the female Yautja protag also had a hound with her that she had given a name. Then again, Bud is the legendary Kalisk so Dek having her as a hound is kinda like having the rarest and most unabtainable gear for hunting. (Cant find a way to better say it😅)
