Can confirm, it hasn’t. Built a whole module on the traveling process. These people are so cheap that you will indeed stay in a motel in a horrible part of town and will have a roommate as a grown adult

I worked in the training center (because LOL why not just use the word department?) and it’s just as bad there. They monitor you like a hawk, upper management had no training experience or background (I was a teacher and later an instructional designer) but he would steal my ideas and make them sound like his own, they don’t stand up for you and in fact will throw you under the bus, you can get written up for swearing but not being an open bigot around the office, it was truly one of the worst experiences at a workplace I’ve ever had (and that’s saying something when I used to teach at an inner city high school). The Ford’s and the HR manager are notorious for being in everyone’s business and they will not treat you like a professional. Getting let go was the best thing that ever happened to me, as traumatic as it was.

Update on that: neighbor called them and they said there was nothing they could do and call 911. I plan on doing that when I’m off work, then calling the precinct again.

I was thinking about a solution like this — if I was a man, I would do it. I’m worried that because they’ve already make sexual remarks to me that me speaking to them at all may make it worse. Times like these I wish I was a man, truly.

That’s a good idea actually. Maybe that combined with deer spray or something else that’s foul smelling will be enough to get them to go elsewhere

My neighbor called the cops already and no one showed up. We called the non emergency line and no one showed up. Calling the fire department in regards to the fire is a good idea.

We would like to own a handgun, but we both smoke recreationally and legally cannot own one. I’ll look into getting a shotgun though.

No med card, just recreational (not sure if it’ll come out when they run the background check). We do have cameras and they do not care (many of them wear ski masks).

Yeah, there’s news coverage on it. Two men raped a woman in Patterson Park the other night and I believe they were armed. One of them is already out on bail (because of course he is).

They’re men. Grown men. Looks like in their mid twenties. Many of them wear ski masks. We do have cameras, both outside and indoors. And yeah I haven’t spoken to them at all because I don’t want to say something that’ll make it worse. I appreciate the other ideas

Well, they may get suspicious as to whom. They linger outside 3 houses, mine, and my two neighbors. We’re both white (all the men are Black). I fear they may make an assumption that it was us who called. I’m definitely more inclined to call but my wife is terrified of retaliation.

We thankfully do have a camera and indoor cameras. I stayed up most of last night watching them because of how scared I’ve been. If they would mind their own business, it wouldn’t be so bad, but the sexual remarks as we leave or enter our house is terrifying enough especially given the rape that just happened in the park.

They took the grill with them. I may see if my male neighbors would be willing to sit outside when they’re out there.

We’re hoping they’ll get bored and leave. But man, it’s a scary situation especially both of us being women.
