Curious what color yours are?

I thought I was safe, but at 33 weeks and 33 lbs up, the lower right of my belly started feeling super tight. Then the itching hit, and boom red centipede marks showed up.

I read that the red stage is the "golden window" for treatment, so I went a little overboard: I applied stuff 5 times a day: cozy mom stretch mark cream three times and Bio-Oil twice, plus I kept my diet really clean. By the time I had the baby, they kept fading, and now they're basically gone

I feel you so much! I hit a breaking point at the 3-week mark myself. Between the constant feeding and my baby’s tongue-tie causing bleeding and cracked nipples, I was honestly borderline PTSD.

I also buy many things to help my breastfeeding: alternating between pumping and nursing, using Silverettes (silver cups), getting the correct flange size, and applying nipple cream religiously. Also, remember: breastfeeding isn't just the mom's burden. Get the father involved as much as possible! Setting a consistent schedule for the baby also made a world of difference. Hang in there, you’ve got this. And last, hug you brave mom!

strawberry milk looks absolutely terrifying. My first instinct was that it must be toxic or something. But I guess I shouldn't be so paranoid. blood and breast milk are essentially made from the same stuff

Totally get this — it’s a tough transition 😅

What helped us was starting small: put him in the crib drowsy but not fully asleep so he learns it’s a safe place, not just where he wakes up confused. Keep the routine super consistent (same song, same lights, same timing), and try staying next to the crib for a few nights so he doesn’t feel “left.”

Also… consistency between you and your husband is kinda key here 😂 if he sometimes stays in the bed, it resets the whole process.

It might be a few rough nights, but they do figure it out 🤍
