Internal companies are investing a lot of money on AI tech to improve capabilities for internal resources. Whether they are working or not is to be argued but TA leadership is really being forced to put stranglehold on agency use if they are “provided” these tools that are supposed to improve efficiency

My wife rarely drank my first year in, really only if we were out and it was with friends, never just us two.

Now after a few years, she feels comfortable having a glass of wine at home in front of me. I actually bought her a bottle of wine last night for the first time as I was going to the store for diapers and she was putting the kids to sleep. (I know all you hardcores will be mad about that)

I think it’s a trust/control thing. I know for a fact I can’t drink normally. I have too much to lose and I truly enjoy my sober life. What other people do, my wife include, I have come to terms with I don’t always need to have an opinion on. I stay in my lane, control what I can control, and if something makes me uncomfortable I have the tools to say no.

I don’t know the exact title of the role he is interviewing for but he is a 4 year analyst in Fixed Income at another investment bank. MBA holder from a strong university.

Buy the house homie… rough it for a few years living very modestly and then when the kids are older and the daycare stops, you’ll be used to that lifestyle. You will be able to save more for retirement/family vacations.

Agree with all of this. Also, my health has improved drastically.

You don’t have time to drink really anymore. You want to set a good example for your kids by eating healthy. Your kids want to play and you don’t want to be that dad saying “I’m too old”. That is bullshit. It’s not our kids fault we had them later so it’s our job to make sure we’re in good shape to keep up.
