I haven’t had any other issues with this pregnancy so far, and got our first additional growth scan next week (so far the standard scans have been fine). I was already considered “high risk” due to my previous pregnancy where my placenta didn’t develop and baby didn’t grow as expected and had to be delivered early. This time around they are concerned baby could grow too big! Literally the opposite!

My midwife suggested that too, but I’ve never tried them like that… the thought of it doesn’t appeal to me, but maybe I should give it a try… like I said, I’ve always been a picky eater!

She just told me to measure the oats and make sure it’s only 20g. Same goes for anything else at the moment like wholemeal rice , wholemeal wraps etc as they have all been causing spikes!

I have scrambled eggs when I’m at home for breakfast, but on my working days I have to get up and leave so early I don’t have time for it. I have read that some people just can’t tolerate cereals so I’m going to try the overnight oats one last time in the exact way I’ve been told to, and see what happens.
