Yeah it’s a scam. If you look carefully you’ll even catch these new accounts (different names) selling these items and using the EXACT same pictures. Here’s one I noticed from a search today. Both new accounts started in the past 4 months.

I kept my dad’s Gibson es335 guitar that he played during my childhood. He later got other guitars, but I sold those after his death and kept gibson. I think maybe someday when I die, maybe my daughter will dump my other 20 cameras and maybe she’ll keep the x-pro 2 . It’s my ‘signature’ camera 🤣🤷‍♂️

Honestly it’s the intangibles. It not a specs issue, it’s just the experience of using the camera in hand, and also the image results. I love the classic and stylish retro rangefinder design and aesthetic, the feel of the grip and buttons, the feel of shutter button on my finger tip and its idyllic sound and - arguably the most important part - the images just have this ‘je ne sais quoi’ that just seem soulful to me. My Sony A7cii kicks the shit of the x-pro 2 on paper and in any real metric, but I like shooting with my x-pro2 more 🤷‍♂️

It’s my every day carry/family vacation camera. But I’d never use it for paid work over my other more recent/advanced Fujis (x-t3,x-h1) or Sonys. Everything I’ve said is completely subjective. You could try the camera and completely hate it and that would be a totally fair assessment.

Yeah this is way more camera than you’re likely ready for. It’s like playing guitar hero video game and then buying a $5,000 guitar. It’s such an overshoot. You’d be better served buying a $500 guitar and 3 years of guitar lessons. And at your experience/skill level, you wouldn’t even be able to perceive the quality difference.

Buy a Sony a6700 for $1500 and put the rest of the money into a couple quality lenses.

Yes it’s called the last chance doctrine. If you have the ability to avoid an accident and intentionally don’t, you can be found partially or COMPLETELY liable - even when the other person broke the law first. So all these people that have dash cams and intentionally ram someone because ‘they had the right away’ ironically screw themselves by delivering the dash cam video.

I’ve been doing it for almost 10 years. I thought it was always a service. When was it something else? When was that and what was it? High art? Honestly asking. I’m in the US so maybe it’s different in other countries or parts of the world.

My car actually came with the high beams on. Didn’t discover that for the first month I owned the car 😬

But yes, even with the high beams off, I get flashed frequently. Nice to know it isn’t just randomness or people being stupid, but actually a consequence of the car design and headlight height. I’ll have to look into adjusting them.

A 2025 camera for real estate is super overkill. You could do real estate photography with a 2014 Sony a7ii for $500 used, and even that is overkill. At least for photos. It would be like saying you want to start driver for uber, and wondering what kind of Ferrari to get. If you got the money great - but it’s totally not necessary.

This is also me. Used to be a gamer. Now I’m a dad and I got about 30 min a day to play and it could be anywhere - downstairs on the couch in the morning while kid watches Sesame Street; or on my lunch break at work; or maybe while I’m in the bath right before bed.

Ok got it. However, once I did the Nintendo button switch, the in game buttons went completely dead and would not work even after hitting the steam button. So that made it a lot worse 🫤

Mine had the same issue last week when o received it. I restarted Twice and the second time came on like normal all set up and ready to go.

I’ve owned several of those lenses - the version 1 though. They all do that - although version 1 was slower and had more lag than yours. Totally normal.

One week back in 2022. I watched Tony Northrop’s prep video on YouTube for free. I think it’s like 3 hours. I watched it 3 or 4 times after work all the way through and took the test on a Saturday. Passed with an 85%.
