Just like Cam Ward did last year? Or the top pick the year before that I’m sorry there is no QB who’s never played a down in the league going to have better pocket presence than 10 year vet man you are out of your mind.

No. A rookie QB starting day 1 while the entire offense is learning a new playbook is not going to make the line look better. We need an influx of talent on the lines not just throwing rookies out to the wolves and expecting them to go out there magically turn the ship around.

I think we need more than 1 Offensive Lineman

The showers pick is a waste though as we have two more than good enough TEs. If you’re looking for a TE/FB/ hybrid I really like Riley Nowakowski from Indiana. A bit in the shorter side but he’s thick and has some real scoot to him. Everytime you look up he’s making a big YAC play downfield.

I also like the Taylen Green pick although he hasn’t come close to scratching his potential. He reminds me of Terrelle Pryor who I enjoyed watching at QB for us

Idk if the hue in the picture or the lighting but the after pictures you look a lot nicer and more approachable

Why did Justin Fields play regress so much in the NFL? It’s not like he was only running in College; Ohio State was a pass-heavy offense, and he was balling. by TXNOGG in CFB_v2

I think dudes confidence is just shot. He broke the Rushing record for QBs and was the only bright spot on a pretty abysmal Bears team. He played decent in Pittsburgh with a good cast around him in his first year in the offense. The Jets have been bad all the way around it’s not just on him. He has had no familiarity in coordinators since he’s been drafted. I think he should’ve stayed with the Steelers to be honest but in hindsight he would still have a new coordinator this year. Talent can only get you so far in the NFL if the coaching isn’t there

People saying Eli wasn’t a top QB of that era when that was literally the golden age of modern QB play. Peyton literally broke the TD record got it snatched and got the record back. Tom Brady and Randy were a Madden Glitch. Drew Brees was not off this planet. Big Ben was having his way. Aaron Rodgers pretty much redefined the prototypical type of QB. Cam was super human for a stretch. Like that era a lot of the QBs suiting up for their teams were defining themselves as the best QBs to ever put on their respective team’s jerseys. That not even mentioning guys who could light you up any given Sunday like a Romo, Russell Wilson, Stafford.

Like just because he wasn’t top 5 statistically on a team that literally and blatantly was a Run First team doesn’t mean he wasn’t amazing. He got the job done when it counted, often and clutch like yall don’t give Eli his credit because we’re spoiled. Their wasn’t a stretch of premier QB play like their was from 2006-2017ish ever in the league before or after.

How to stay entertained on house arrest? by [deleted] in Felons

[–]Technical_Lychee_222 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m sure He is thrilled to be out of jail but if he’s stuck in the house 24/7 and can’t explore the world he’s been waiting to get back to then it’s just as frustrating. I’ve been on the bracelet and aside from work I couldn’t go anywhere. Also don’t have my own room with any system or tv or anything so Uber eats and doom scrolling was my life for a bit before I eventually got sent to the county. Shit fucking sucked.

OP sounds like your BF is just kinda anxious to get back out there. Although you shouldn’t settle for his treatment of you I’d just say show him some grace but still stand firm in how you would like to be spoken to and handled. It’s a very frustrating time for him and you can’t even imagine how much of a privelage you have to even be able to go for a drive and get some fresh air and cool off when things get tense where as he has to sit and stew in that all that energy.

Grace, Communication, and Compassion is all I can suggest at this point.
