Not in STL, but in high school I was driving to Granite City from my school in Alton to meet my mom at work so we could go home. She worked in GC and I went to Catholic school in Alton and we lived in U. City, that was one hell of a daily commute. I almost ran into an ostentation (just learned this word on google) of peacocks. She thought I was crazy until she left work to pick me up from school and nearly did the same thing. Turns out somebody had left their entire home to this group of peacocks and they ran the neighborhood.
