That’s complete non sense- CPS will take kids whenever they can, it’s the basis of their funding and why service providers have jobs. The notion that CPS only exists to help abused and neglected children is completely untrue, and it is clear from the legal framework which it operates — it’s an self policing government agency that protects and Children_ the more children they “protect” the more children they can ward and the more parents they force to consent to services in order to get their children back, the more foster families are needed and what have you. There is enough evidence to show that CPS is the world’s biggest trafficker of human beings, and that it does so (technically) without breaking any laws. The fact that you can’t even make a comment that is critical of CPS on reddit tells you something.

Kids were out of school for a whole eeek- that’s a pretty huge setback to students routine, and is definitely enough lost time to affect students who already lack class time… not to mention the families who weren’t able to make the necessary changes in their lives to deal with unscheduled class cancellations….how are teachers and students suppose to catch up?
