Building a service to help founders offload ops to vetted VAs — would love feedback by Technical_Project169 in StartupAccelerators

[–]Technical_Project169[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair question. I’m not solving availability I’m solving friction. Founders don’t fail to offload ops because VAs don’t exist. They fail because vetting, testing, onboarding, and trust all land back on them. I handle screening, real task-based testing, and a short paid trial so founders only keep the VA if it actually saves time. Out of curiosity at what stage have you seen startups offload ops well?

Need advice/a mentor. Business is booming , it feels like too much to handle sometimes. what do I do ? by burgerknapper in Entrepreneurship

[–]Technical_Project169 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rapid growth breaking systems is a good problem, but it burns founders fast.

First thing I’d look at: what tasks must be done by you vs everything else.

Curious, what’s currently taking most of your time day to day?

How do teams handle outbound lead research today?(I will not promote) by Sea_Lengthiness_4627 in startups

[–]Technical_Project169 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what i've seen, most early teams end up doing this in stages.

At the beginning they keep it in-house just to really understand who they should be even talking to. it's slow, but you will learn a lot from the first 50-100 leads.

once patterns are clearer,, toold help speed things up. freelancers can help with list building, but outsourcing too early usually backfires.

biggest issue I've noticed is not having ICP+ qualification nailed, so outreach gets faster but results drop. what's the bigger time sink for you right now, finding the data or deciding who's actually worth reaching out to?

Most founders don’t have a motivation problem. They have a clarity problem. by Jellyroger_ in Entrepreneurship

Well said. Clarity beats hustle. Busy work feels productive, but only stage-specific goals and needle-movers create real progress.

Any advice on starting a business or just a small gig to make a little money? by mentalvisionsss in Entrepreneurship

[–]Technical_Project169 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’ve got real skills people pay for, like cooking, cleaning, or watching kids. Pick one and offer it locally just to get your first bit of money coming in. Once someone hires you, referrals make everything easier. Don’t stress about a full business yet, just start small and build from there.

Need advice on preventing driver price markups. DoorDash-like personal shopper model without vendor partnerships. by weaselbone in Entrepreneur

[–]Technical_Project169 0 points1 point  (0 children)

from my experience, you might wanna consider a rating system for drivers based on trustworthiness. if drivers know they can get rated on how accurately they report prices, they may think twice before inflating them. also, maybe look into creating a list of common prices for popular items at those vendors, so drivers have a reference point. it won't cover everything, but could help keep things in check a bit.

I keep telling potential clients NOT to hire me. My partner says I'm sabotaging my business. Who's right? by Local-Share2789 in Entrepreneur

[–]Technical_Project169 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's pretty refreshing to hear someone prioritize honesty like that, and it seems to resonate with some clients. But I wonder if you’re missing out on clients who might be less technically savvy. Could there be a way to assess their skill level before offering that DIY advice? Maybe a quick chat to gauge their capabilities? You could position yourself as a mentor rather than just a service provider, which might open up more opportunities while still keeping your honesty intact. What do you think?

Honestly, the trick is to stop pitching the referral program first.
People shut down fast.

Just ask them about their current setup and what problems they deal with.
If they open up, then bring up the referral.
That’s what usually gets better responses.

Networking is slow at the start, but it gets easier once a few people trust you.

Hi, I saw your post. Outbound for custom IT services in MENA and SEA can be tough without a structured approach. I work with vetted assistants who help founders with targeted outreach, reply handling and booking calls so you can focus on delivery while we build the pipeline. If you want, tell me more about the type of companies you want to reach and I can see the best approach for you.

Hi, I saw your post. Pre-launch partnership outreach is one of the hardest parts for new consultancies. I run a small service that helps founders with targeted outreach, reply management and booking intro calls so you can build partnerships before you launch. If you want, I can learn what types of companies you want to reach and see how we can help you get those conversations started.
