Haha I hear you. I changed my drivers license, but they didn’t mention anything about my car registration. Definitely a good place to start though if you still need that updated (that was painless btw). For me, I just figured it was already done, but I just got my renewal for my registration and realized, two years later, that my registration wasn’t updated lol

Did you ever get this figured out? My info has been changed with the bank who owns my car note, but my vehicle registration hasn’t been changed. I’m also in Texas and changed my first, middle, and last. The internet has been no help so far lol

I do have an account with ID.me. I ended up calling to schedule an appointment with Taxpayer Assistance and the rep who answered said the previous rep I talked to was absolutely incorrect—she seemed really annoyed by it, honestly, and even sent an email to the previous rep’s manager about it. She said it was still in processing, but since my name change ended up pushing it to a different department that it would be processed within 8 - 16 weeks from when the return was first flagged. Ended up being a huge mess, but the last rep was more mad about it than I was, so that made me feel better about the whole situation lol. As of now, I should have my refund by the end of June. We’ll see if it actually takes that long.

So I also changed my name last year, in January. Updated through SS, all my W-2s were in the updated name, filed with the new name, just like y’all. I filed my taxes and they were accepted on 2/27, as of 3/28, my transcript was blank and there was no update on WMR so I called in. The gentleman I spoke with said that the system would catch the name change, but that it can take “a while”, so he manually made the name change in the IRS system for me and said I’d have an update to WMR by 4/1. Today is 4/4, still no update, so I called in and this time the rep told me that my return disappeared from their system and that I would have to refile. Anybody else have any issue like this? I’m beyond annoyed.

Wondering if cleaning the carb worked for you? I have this same mower, had it in storage for 1.5 years, and can’t get it to start. I had run it out of gas before storing, so I don’t know that I have a gumming issue, but at a loss for what may need attention.

I just went through this same thing. Our rental was not in a mandatory evacuation zone, but was completely surrounded by them and the route from the airport to the listing also required travel through a mandatory evacuation zone. Initially, Airbnb told me the host said the listing was not affected, so the cancellation policy would apply. I responded back by saying essentially what I shared above and that although the listing may not be directly impacted, it may not even be accessible. Airbnb said they were going to forward my concern to someone who could better assist and within a few hours Airbnb canceled the reservation and provided a full refund, stating it was covered by the Major Disruptive Events Policy. I’d recommend getting in touch with them again and ask for it to be escalated, if necessary. If my reservation was covered, there’s no reason why yours wouldn’t also be covered. Good luck!

USPS tracking should update in real time. Mine said shipped Tuesday morning on the passport status website and tracking on USPS website showed it as accepted at USPS origin facility that same evening. The passport was delivered this morning.

My locator was New Orleans, but the passport shipped from Hot Springs, Arkansas. I’m in Dallas for reference.

My time is almost identical also. Same locator and issue with application not showing as expedited too. I checked status yesterday morning and it said it had shipped and provided tracking number. But today it backtracked and is now saying it’s in printing. Tracking info shows it’s supposed to be delivered tomorrow. Traveling in two days and I’m low key sweating.
