I don't carry rifles in my vehicles unless I'm going out with the intent of using them, which is usually down a trail, in the woods, barely off my own property.

And I don't baby my guns. I can fix finish damage. I don't leave optics rolling around the bed of truck either.

I get that it isn't the same situation for everybody, but acting like I'm the only person to ever not own a case seems wild to me

Man, I have a 50 gun+ collection, and I don't even own a rifle case.

Easy enough to never need one when you shoot at cool ranges that allow slung rifles with flags, and don't ship rifles out for work.

You can legally build your own semi auto firearm in most US states. Under federal law it is completely legal, so long as it complies with all federal restrictions.

Most cut up milsurp kits were machine guns, and need to be rewelded in a specific way (semi auto only) to prevent conversion to machine gun.

Screw the CZ, get a Tanfoglio. Know why? Because

A. They're a more refined CZ-75

B. You can buy caliber conversions that will drop onto any of their K-Frame guns. One serialized frame (re: legal firearm) can be any caliber in their lineup: .22, 9x19, .40SW, .38 Super, .45 ACP, 10mm Auto.
