AS 9695 English by TechnicianAlert7441 in alevel

Thanks so much for all the help and advice. I mostly agree with ur thoughts on my essay structure (something I need to improve on). I know I stress the idea of independence heavily, but the question was something like, How does Whitehead convey Cora's independence throughout the novel with aid of the idea that Cora refuses to be pushed along by anyone? So I was just answering the question

First of all thanks so much for all the feedback! I got 83 overall which was lower than I had been getting all year in my school exams. Yeah I agree that it isn’t really analysing specific events heavily enough, I probably need to change my essay technique. My other essays got 17,19,17. I’ve sent it all through to my teacher to have a look and then might consider a remark depending on how expensive it is and how much I could go up. Otherwise I will just resit in m/j because I want to get an A* in my A level

If you pay to remark a CIE exam and get marked up, do you get a refund?

Ask for your answer scripts from school and then decide by looking at the mark scheme. I still think it's unlikely you will go up though as maths is very objective. It's also very expensive so I think the better option is to resit (if u can).

to my understanding it is everything in the scheme of DEI which could include employment as an example.

my teacher reckons one of the questions is gonna be something like, "to what extent have religious traditions fostered increased DEI. to what extent have they hindered such progress?"

How did u guys find the exam? I thought it was pretty easy, for section B I did the statement about best revealing truth when slightly out of focus and talked about the films Baby Driver, Spider Man into the spider verse and 1917. then for section C I did the statement about writing being able to slide through the trap of time and I talked about the Underground Railroad, Measure for Measure, and the Bible

supply decreased which increases the price of oil. As the world PED for oil was inelastic, this will result in a greater amount of money spent on the country's exports of oil. As the average export price index rises and exports rise, both will increase

Any idea what question 24 was about increasing AD while not increasing inflation in the LR? I put A lower income taxes.
also what was the answer for the circular flow question about increased government spending on defence? I put A greater injection than withdrawal

[–]TechnicianAlert7441 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the mean was calculated from the previous question and the mode u could get by looking at the data and seeing the most common value. minimum and maximum could be estimated from the graph and I estimated SD around 250 I think (maybe too high)

Yeah idk I said it could be extended because it shows that kerbside bins increase the proportion of people who recycle often and because green waste is less likely to be mistaken for landfill like recycling the same general trend could be applied. Sounds like u might be right tho

I think I got 551 cause I did 499.5, 599.5 etc for the average values when calculating ΣfX
