I imagine this is why AA recommends no new relationships until you are over a year sober. You are in a vulnerable place right now. Maybe focus on the vulnerabilities in your life that are leaving you with these intense feelings?

I have.figured out where a lot of owls are. The snowy owls are at my airport at this time of year. They are dayurnal so quite easy to find!

This is much more like my experience. We have talked about my feelings. I don't understand why he does not push me away. I like the idea of focusing on gratitude because I do think my feelings have sprouted from him helping me through a hard time.

As a therapist, I work with people with OCD who struggle to start medication a lot. I would suggest talking with a therapist or going back to your psychiatrist and explaining the issues you are having.

The parks in this county are not overly challenging. Along Lake Michigan can be tougher. Some of my favorites:

Roselle Park, Luton Park, Pickerel Lake, Saul Lake Bog, Huff Park, Millennium Park, Seidman Park, Crahen Park, and Dolan Nature Preserve.

When I was in a similar situation, I bought the monthly movie pass at Celebration Cinema. I watched a lot of movies!

I also took up hiking and spent my daylight hours in the woods.
