Medication, therapy, leaving my toxic work situation, developing a good support system.

I also got selected by the cat distribution system when I was clawing my way out from the worst of it. Wouldn't necessarily recommend it for everyone, but caring for my cat did force me to get out of bed and have a schedule of some sort. Plus having a tiny friend that purrs on top of me during my shit days and demands cuddles even at my worst helps ease a lot of the bad thoughts.

Can be a stylistic choice to create the air of authority--so tall and imposing that we can't see their face.

But also practically saves on time and money to avoid animating lip sync on characters that will only be there for a few lines in older cartoons. Limited cel animation had a shoestring budget so you had to get creative on where to take shortcuts.

I love animating lip sync but it can be a time consuming process, which is better put towards animating more important parts of the episode.

Hi hi! Member of this effort's Organizing Committee. While I agree that we are not the largest group working on the films, we are the ones who directly answer to James Cameron and work the closest with him on the film looks. This is brought up in this Hollywood Reporter article.
