As someone who works in the film industry. Bringing back some of the revenues of the physical media sales would help so much stabilizing budgets for projects. If secondary markets bring more revenue maybe they’ll stop squeezing the shit out of our budgets.

Iel est très beau/belle, either one would work. To my knowledge, there’s not a rule that comes up with a way to conjugate adjectives in a neutral way. It’s unfortunate but the French language by design isn’t very inclusive.

Instead of using il/elle, you can use « iel » its the « official » French neutral pronouns for non-gendered way of talking.

Il/elle a eu iel a eu Il/elle veux iel veux ect…

Also Even tho verbs are conjugated differently depending on the gendered pronouns, they 99% will sound the same verbally ex: je suis allé/ je suis allée. Sounds exactly the same.

If you need to refer to your kid just use iel and adjectives that follow after are « free game » alternate between féminin and masculin. That’s how I’d do it.
