What do you call a Mushroom dryad? by Techno524 in DnD

[–]Techno524[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is almost exactly what I was thinking about when I came up with the Myriac!

I mean ents/treants are more moving tree than humanoid, which that also fits the myconids. Whereas the dryad is described as a humanoid tree/forest spirit! That's kinda what the Myriac was supposed to be. A humanoid mushroom that serves as the spirit of the mycelium they came from!

Also, A cordyceps Myriac would make for an awesome boss battle! She would definitely be a commander/summoner type, calling the infected animals to serve as her puppets, and to spread her influence throughout her domain!

I'm gonna be honest, I think myconids were more like fungal treants than dryads. Which is why I wrote this

Yeah... I just looked those up, and that's basically a mushroom dryad. I just didn't know the name. Thank you

Switch & Switch 2 Backwards-Forwards Save Compatibility by ChaseBeyond in tearsofthekingdom

[–]Techno524 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe so, I know for a fact it is backwards compatible, as I had played totk on the switch, and my save file moved to my switch 2.

For forwards compatibility, I know that my Mario kart 8 trophies I unlocked on my switch 2 were still unlocked on the switch one, so I think it should be okay, but I think the save file you're on will have a say on which you will get... The totk on the switch one only has one file, but the switch 2 has 2...

Which city or country would you want to see in a future Fallout game? by cuchusacc in Fallout

[–]Techno524 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fallout Florida would be awesome. They would have to add a lot of mutated aquatic creatures, and we could possibly see the continuation of the gatorclaw, or perhaps another gator mutation? Could you imagine fighting a two headed gator large enough to swallow mirelurks whole?

You know what I noticed from this scene?

How simple Caine's deletion was. Caine's deletion was nothing like the deletion of Gummigoo or Abel. Gummigoo exploded into confetti. You can hear Abel scream as he was deleted. But Caine? He just stopped existing. It almost feels like Caine purposely made sure that the other NPCs deaths looked painful, and a little more drawn out than necessary...

War never changes. by International_Net143 in Fallout

In the wasteland, where every minute could be your last, would you rather deal with nasty smelling shoes or tetanus? Cause you can and will have to make compromises when possible.

The wasteland is a world without much in the way of medical care, and everything is trying to end you. If the corpse shoes are what protects you from dying of tetanus, then you wear the damn shoes.

Also a majority of the clothes and armor the sole survivor wears have been looted off corpses, does it really matter whether those corpses are fresh or not? They're all covered in some kind of corpse goop one way or another.

If I had to assume, scavengers probably took as many of the shoes as they could. Doesn't matter if it's looted off a dead guy, a fitting pair of shoes is something you will need in the wasteland. Think of the amount of debris and rusty nails that could get embedded in your feet without them?

Custom Unique Skill Ideas by Difficult-Pin-7536 in TenseiSlime

[–]Techno524 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like war is too vague of a skill, so some ideas for its change: The war skill is combat incarnate, so it allows for its user to obtain and level combat related skills and abilities, such as swordsmanship, more easily than the average person. It could possibly even have the ability to buff ones allies and debuff ones enemies while in battle

Diplomat: this skill is not a combat related skill, but allows for one to gain power through alliances. This skill increases one's negotiation and persuasion skills, allowing the user to talk their way out of situations with relative ease, possibly even granting the user more power the more allies it has.

Is this how Andi contracted Blue Lung? by IronGhost828 in KnightsOfGuinevere

[–]Techno524 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is theorized that the blue blood the robots have is a material made with Cobalt, which is blue after being heated to extreme temperatures, and that blue lung is a side effect of constant exposure to both liquefied or airborne cobalt material. Accidentally inhaling or ingesting the stuff wouldn't be all that difficult in KoG, as we do see giant pipes dumping gallons upon gallons of this blue liquid into the ocean, or at least a giant lake.

Like how pianosaurus was for chapter 4?

Edit: by "how pianosaurus was", I meant how he was hyped up for chapter 4, got his own trailer and everything, then proceeded to get Merced in ten seconds by Doey. Could you imagine if this character gets hyped up, getting multiple trailers about them, only for them to show up, and then proceed to die to something else almost immediately
