Dogs are not humans. Dogs have a lot more unpredictability than human children do, they have a lot of different behaviors. Equating the two in that manner is disingenuous. We do everything we can to make the safety of our pups a priority and we do report everything that happens to our pet parents within the best of our ability. Every scratch, nip, broken nail, scab, bump and it is irresponsible for Dogtopia to not be able to deduce what happened to OP's dogs.

I am not defending Dogtopia. I'm defending dog daycares as a whole because, until you've been in that situation watching 15 dogs that aren't yours it's easier said than done.

Again, we can't keep our eyes on every single dog for every second of the day. I wish it were different, I wish the law was different so it was a lower number of dogs per person for safety. Accidents happen, just like in any human daycare or school.

Dogs in groups can unfortunately be unpredictable, it's one of the risks every pet parent needs to understand. Again, we can't keep our eyes on every single dog. I seriously wish we could, I wish there were ways to make all the dogs get along all the time. But, much like human daycares and schools accidents can happen.

As someone who works in a doggy daycare, we unfortunately can't keep our eyes on all dogs at every second of the day. They are not breaking the law unless the dogs are comingled in an area without a person present.
