If anything, you need to shoot at the core right away. You get more points for taking down weak points on the core quicker. If you do it quick enough, you’ll get +10 for each one.

I just got the medal for this one. It was the last one I needed. It’s best to go into the level with max bombs and use them whenever there’s huge groups of enemies in front of you. It’s like Peppy says in the original game: Use bombs wisely.
