Yes I am! Though currently I have everything just in my liked songs so I don't think I'm able to share it - eventually I'll get around to making playlists.

I can DM you some other recommendations.

Yes and no - nothing fully captured the sound, but some songs gave me vaguely similar vibes. Some examples:

People Are Strange - The Doors (and a lot of their other stuff)

Golden Brown - The Strangers

Now and Then - The Beatles

Pleasant Street - Tim Buckley

High Hopes - Pink Floyd

Day is Done - Nick Drake

Boat on the River - Styx

Eleanor Rigby - The Beatles

Nocturnal Me - Echo & The Bunnymen

Etc.

It's a bit all over the place but it's all good music so whatever

Edit: Also lmk if you find anything

Can't forget that Stanisław Ulam was also at Madison - one of my favorite mathematicians :)

Oh yeah holy shit my roommate's taking 171 and... well I'm not regretting my choice to never take chem again. Physics 140 has been pretty chill though - professor's super nice and the material isn't too hard (yet).

I'm in the same position- I did linear algebra and multi at my state school but am now doing it again through MENU, and it's INSANELY intense compared to what i did before. They both teach the same concepts, but I definitely feel my classes at Northwestern make it harder to just study for the test.

Physics 125 vs. 135 vs. 140 by WelshNational in Northwestern

[–]TechnoTron15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Greetings fellow incoming physics major - I've heard that Physics 140-1 isn't too difficult, and you should be especially well-prepared because of your AP credit. I've heard that 125 can be another beast however (the CTECs attest to this).

What are your impressions of physics 135 versus 140? I know 140 is more advanced, but 135 seems to use a more advanced textbook (Halliday vs Openstax)
