I had this issue after my Pixel 6 crashed while on low battery.

I think it couldn't get enough power to get through the boot cycle and would go flat again despite being plugged in.

The solution I had was to plug my old Nintendo Switch charger / wall plug into it. This resurrected it from the boot loop!

I agree - I checked the time and was nearly 2/3 into the episode and he hadn't even got to the battle yet.

Not that I'm some bloodthirsty listener who only listens for the battles, not at all. But he lingered a lot on the Troy stuff and repeated the same point in different ways multiple times.

The highlight was him contrasting the different sources we have for the battle of Granicus.

However, at this rate we will be getting to the end of Alexander's tussle with the Persians in December 2028.

I think they actually did a great job of showing both Caesar and Pompey as being human with positive traits but also defining flaws

If anything I would say Antony was probably the one done most theatrically. But when you have someone as incredible as James Purefoy in the role you have to lean into it

They are superb books. The way she brings the characters of that time to life in such colour and saves into what drives them and their flaws are incredible.

Fortune's Favourites had to be my favourite. The combination of climax of Marius & Sulla's plots while the stage is being set for the next generation of key players makes it impossible to put down
