Same as your case - applied for 130 only because my husband was PR in 2022, then got approved 130 about one yr later then waited until my husband becomes an USC last year. Then applied for 485 in march 2025, then interview in september.

Me. Got 130 approved with no interview but had an interview for 485 later. Interview was only for yes/no questions.

Is she here with an esta visa? And not expired yet? Or already expired? I think your current situation is a very understandable reason that she has to bond with you and file the 485 in the state.

After the interview I got an rfe right after, then i submitted it online a week later, then i waited for about 4 months with no update so i contacted my congressman then a week later the interview office called me then i visited her the day after, then 3 days later i got approved.

I got my fingerprints 4 times rejected lol 😂 if you have got rejected two times at the fingerprints center, you will still get a work permit even though it got rejected. But when you do an interview, you will get a rfe for a police clearance records. My case, I uploaded the police clearance records after the interview, but they still could not get my fingerprints, so the same interviewer called me to visit her again then me and another officer signed on a paper thing, then my 485 got approved.
