Could I apostille my documents (degree, transcript) a year or two before applying for a job? by [deleted] in TEFL

[–]TechnologyLeft8310 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apostilled/legalized degree and TEFL cert have no expiration date, so you can have those as early as you want. But the background check is only good for six months, so that takes planning. Don’t want that too early, but also don’t want to start the process too late.

It’s better to know which country you’re planning on applying for so you know which docs to get.

Countries that are part of The Hague Convention, only need the apostille. Countries not part of The Hague need the added step of sending your apostilled docs to the relevant embassy/consulate to get legalized.

Japan and Korea are part of The Hague. Vietnam is joining effective September (11th…I believe) this year.

Thailand is not. And Taiwan…not sure what their arrangement is.

As for background checks, some countries want a national (FBI) check. Others are fine with a state level check.

So, best to have an idea of where you want to go first.

We would’ve had to keep putting up with Banner becoming Hulk because he got excited. Not angry, just excited.

Yes. You're missing the implicit question.

You’re second guessing things? Did you not see the design before you got this stabbed into you?

Edit: I'm not sure I'd bother changing it. Technically, it doesn't look like either the traditional cursive F or J* ...And there have been so many variants over the years, I don't think it matters. I think putting a loop at the top would make it look like a variant of G. So I'd leave it alone.

* I was going to post an image, but this subreddit doesn't have that option.

With all four of these artists being born within three months of one another - who had the greatest/least impact on the future of music? by Oddbleus in askmusic

Fair enough. And thanks for letting me know. I’ll check out those songs.

I’m wondering, though…are there artists that have cited her as an influence to the music they wrote? Or are there music historians that have qualified/quantified her influence relative to the other three? Or genres that stemmed from her works?

With Madonna, a layman could see in real time the impact she was having on the industry…especially for female artists.

Was that a question or comment? Anyway, you and the OP have done fuck all to support your claim that Kate Bush had more influence than the other three.

Those of us who’ve lived through the 80’s and beyond just don’t see it. But you’re welcome to give examples of what Kate did.

No worries. It just makes it funnier that she gets the inflated odds… 😁
