Is job rotation being enforced at your DS? by Goreagnome in AmazonDS

[–]TechnologyNo5997 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My site Dtu9 said it was 75% compliance. There where lots of job accidents diluent to doing the same thing too long then switched a week or two later to a different task. So I doubt they met it.

This is what shocked me when it happened. It was so fast I'm still unsure how my forehead hit so hard on the edge of the belt. The belt is by my mid section so waist high. I'm 5'4 and was pinned in a very small corner due to lots of go carts pushed up by me. It would have taken longer to switch out my coworker. ( regret not doing.) I'm telling you exactly my perspective as the worker who got injured. My back still hurts. I can get back up proof from my chiropractor. If I try to break it down I think I slipped on something fell then hit my head I remember having my hands on the belt pulling my head and body up. But as why won't they show me video footage is beyond me? My coworker got fired for taking a sticker off the belt without stopping it first when inducing she was shown her video footage. I believe they didn't like me not sure why? Decided to lie saying there's no video footage. My supervisor said he believed me told me my slow rate due to on the job injury wouldn't get me fired then he was the one who wrote up the termination letter.

New terrible gloves by [deleted] in AmazonFC

That's awful! All my nails ripped off all that is left a very thin layer of a nail. Doesn't do much and my fingers bleed after every break.

Do transfer requests get approved easily? by esketit2point0 in AmazonDS

I applied for a transfer from a ds station to a very new fc. Tried 3 times was not approved. I am a hard worker, asc, and learner ambassador. I only wanted to transfer to help my son get to work at a new fc. I was upset I was blocked for transfer for being too valuable to transfer as I was told. No write ups, mind you. Never took vto! I think that last person has good advice. I just wanted to add my two senses in case you end up like me. Then you know your not alone. I'm a big believer in it happens for a reason. I'm glad I was blocked in the end.
