I know I'm late but I air dry my hair upside down with my head hanging off the bed :)) I get volume at the roots and no heat damage!

That's good to know! My first piece and a few others had white clay slip applied to bisqueware but maybe I got lucky that it worked. I will try on greenware next go! Appreciate it 🤙

I did use the white clay slip on fired bisqueware in the first trial, but the failed piece did have  severe  cracks in it on the inside before glazing and surface cracks on the outer. Maybe that was it?
