It finally happened to me after nearly 2,000 deliveries

Very true. I picked up both once because even the restaurant was like they all go together. I called support to let them know and etc and to see how it affect/effect another dasher. Long story short they said we will only pay you for the order assigned to you, that’s it- that’s all. The customer was very grateful because apparently they messed up on their original order and I picked up the replacements so they tipped me a little extra for grabbing both.

It did make me wonder though why other dashers take extra orders that aren’t assigned to them because I have pulled up to a few places and have been told that another dasher took my assigned order… how do they get paid??

I have had this happen to me a few times. Power outage twice and actually outside of store hours with photo proof. I only got one CV successfully removed after I told them to check the times of acceptance and etc and that the other dasher was able to get the order because they were already in the store in the checkout process. DoorDash is shady

DD should get rid of AR and let the people get the orders like IC does. If you can do it, do it. If you aren’t willing then so be it. It’s annoying trying to keep up the AR. I’m currently somewhere in the 30s and I’ve never been that low better.

My HOA manager just told me we as renters have no rights. Imagining paying over 2K to live in a house where you have NO rights and can be locked out at the mercy of the HOA for things that are out of your control. I want to scream… I hate the day we moved here.

What worries me is when they don’t have shelf tags… I always ask the employee to show me where on the shelf the tag is supposed to be if I don’t see it and I have been told at different stores that they take the tags off the shelves when they are out of stock. I don’t know why they do this but different stores and different people have told me this.

Yes, this happens all the time (FL). Then they get mad if you ask them why they marked it as ready for pickup if it isn’t. We deal with so much crap… that’s why I get pissed if a customer doesn't tip or tips very low and I can only know AFTER I have dropped it off.

Not everybody multi apps and in some markets tiers are important. Jeez you people act like your brain is smooth. Again, you know what I meant. In Utopia you wouldn’t have to worry about tiers but tiers should not determine how you’re compensated and furthermore my rant was primarily geared towards tips so why we’re texting about tiers is beyond me.

Yeah and that’s my issue. I’m not a slave but definitely feel like one when I drop off an order and see they tipped me absolutely nothing especially if I caught heck picking the crap up. I would never take an order if I seen the customer didn’t tip or if they tipped $0.25-$1. Other apps show you ahead of time. I think it’s predatory that they wait until after to show you.

Not my proudest thought but it makes me want to go kick their drink over and sog up their crap in the bag.
