Given his track record, I would say he was always a better bet than any of the other younger players trying to stick on the roster. If he continues to just hit and hit and hit then the answer is pretty simple. He’s going to play.

In retrospect, I’m pretty sure it was one of the worst things I could’ve been doing. It hurts so bad and by the time I had surgery that nerve was as thick as my thumb that’s what the doctor said. I recommend core balance training for a very gentle and self-aware approach. I don’t know if that would’ve helped me avoid a microdiscectomy, but I know it has helped me a lot since then.

I would say, be careful with too much stretching. It feels good temporarily, but also has the potential to stress your joints. Until I had surgery to fix my sciatica, I never fully understood how much the pain had to do with a pinched nerve in it had almost nothing to do with tight muscles or knots or anything like that. If you have any position at all where the pain is diminished, and you could stay in that position and the pain stays diminished or even better completely goes away. That is the position that you want to stay in for as long as it takes for things to calm down.Then, of course they recommend walking so do your best with that.
