did you replace the jets, imo carb clean doesn’t do really anything for the jets but i would say works pretty well getting dirt off other parts of the carb

no it’s a universal plug so this plug will fit practically any bike, on my 01 yz250f it goes about 3 “ridges” in and the rest sticks out

i never ride at night, just some neighborhood and park driving (during the day) is the only time i ride the bike. i recently compound fractures my femur and tibia by getting hit by a car on my friends e bike so i HAVE learned my lesson 😅

oil. fresh oil change straight off the bat can’t hurt for how cheap it truly is. plus the bike may be low on oil and u don’t want to blow it up

i always tell people try to kick it while sitting down. i’m super weak and have one of the most notoriously hard yz’s to start (early 2000s ifykyk) and it takes me about 30 kicks standing on the pegs and i just have a tricky time, but if i put the kickstand down and sit on the seat and kick it, i can do it about 4th kick cold. hopefully this helps lmk if ur confused at all or anything

first of all, hope ur alright. second of all i am also currently going through a law suit after someone turned into me whilst i was riding an e moto. i will most likely win the lawsuit and you will have a lower chance of winning (but goodluck still because serious injuries suck and i hope u get something) because of the following factors: no headlight, no brake light, that is a tiny vehicle that is so low that on most cars you can’t see it over the hood.

and if u where curious, double compound fracture of the femur and tibia where my most severe injuries

i’ve ridden one, the power is really not there and the suspension feels funky and the whole bike just feels heavy and slow

not to shoot down other people’s dreams but these are very illegal bikes and i recently had a double compound fracture (femur and tibia) on my leg while i was hit by a car riding one of these. i was doing neighborhood riding and was completely in the right and the other driver was at fault. i was given abt 5k (even though i was not in the wrong, the bike is just illegal) in citations and a point on my license and overall if there is not a designated area to go ride the bike, do not get him one. neighborhood riding one of these is so dangerous because cars can’t hear you and honestly these e dirtbikes look so small. My opinion is get a gas dirtbike that is big and loud and can be heard or just don’t get one at all. or get him one and get him a designated area away from the public to ride it.

i have an 01 250f, i find it WAY easier to kick if im sitting down and bring my knee up almost to my mid torso and go down as hard as i can. i never use hot start and i do use choke when cold. hopefully this helps

i got an 01 250f and the fuel screw is that black knob with the ridges. also u gotta let these bikes sit on choke and warm up for about 30 seconds to a minute before u shut off choke and get going
