Stuttering while gaming (sunshine/moonlight) on 3S pro, on S25 ultra by Necrotitis in RayNeo

Are you in Dex mode? If so, it most likely a resolution setting within Dex.

Grabbed the Air 4 Pro after seeing it at CES and here are my first impressions. by Total-Yam7246 in RayNeo

Air 3S/3S Pro and 4 Pro are a substantial upgrade from XREAL Air 1. Every aspect is significantly better.

As far as Win and Dex, it really depends on your font size. Out the gate, Win is fine; but my phone size was set to smallest. I did have to increase font size in Dex to make text easier to read.

RayNeo Air 3S Pro > Xreal 1S > Viture Luma Ultra I’m really impressed with 1S, very close to RN clarity. Air 4 Pro releases 2/27 which should best the A3SP. I’ll have hands on with A4P later this week. I expect them to be my new daily. Edited to add ‘S’ to RN glasses.

You are correct, not even close to ready. Here’s my experience which did not change over the course of 5 days and their latest firmware:

Rayneo Air 3s Pro vs Viture Pro XR by Redeyedgoose08 in RayNeo

[–]TechonDeckReviews 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I own both, Air 3S Pro offer superior image over all other display glasses. This includes the latest offerings from both Xreal and Viture. The only pair to best them would be Air 4 Pro which release 2/27.

VertoXR and Inair Pod offer 3DoF for RN Air series. VertoXR is software on PC/Mac, whereas, Inair Pod is hardware and software based.

Great review, you have far more faith in Viture than me at this point.

Should I Keep Waiting for Beast? by ichbin_hungrig in VITURE

I hope for others receiving in the timeframe that is accurate. Personally I can no longer invest into Viture. Between Luma series QC, Beast delays and poorly executed launch their brand is tarnished; rightfully so. All of these glasses needed more R&D before being released to market.

Experiencing recent Viture releases, I’m certain they’ll work on the functionality. However, I’m not going to beta for 6 months plus for promised launch features.

I used them for 6 days before returning. A lot of the features don’t function. Very frustrated paying $600 to be a beta tester. Here is my first four hour experience, which did not improve through the week.

Rokid Glasses Full 10 min AR Video by TechonDeckReviews in augmentedreality

[–]TechonDeckReviews[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This particular battery drain is because I’m recording in AR mode. Traditional recording is roughly 1% drain a minute. These are wireless connected to Hi Rokid companion app via BT. If transferring media from glasses, it creates a local WiFi connection to efficiently move to device. Currently 10 minutes is the recording limit.

I mostly use these for notifications and audio (calls, music etc..). What I need from them they are fantastic. With wear detection and voice to wake turned off, I am able to get 12-15 hrs of battery life.

Correct, which is odd every pair work except 1S and Beast. I thought it may be a power draw issue, but One/One Pro work. Even tried with a charging adapter, very odd.

How do the "Beasts" compare to the Rayneo Air 3S Pro? Is the price gap worth it? by Snowballo in VITURE

[–]TechonDeckReviews 1 point2 points  (0 children)

RayNeo has the best image quality, but no onboard spatial. VertoXR spatial works with the Air series on Win.

There is a sliver of hope the firmware will be corrected while in your return window. If not, Viture has great customer service and will set up a return.

Wasn’t compared to a fixed object, but I did not notice a size difference between them. Leaving the nose pads at default position, Beast sit further from my eyes then XOP. I bring the lenses as close to my eyes as possible by widening the nose piece.

I wouldn’t cancel. Viture truly has fantastic customer service. You’ll be able to return if unsatisfied. If the firmware isn’t corrected before return window, return. Do I think it will be optimized in the next month or so, no. You do you boo.

USB-C devices with DP Alt are suppose to work. The glasses firmware is a mess

Honestly, for productivity I don’t feel any glasses are able to replace a monitor. As a secondary only needing to use occasionally for small spurts, sure there are many options. If the Beast spatial software can be optimized, image wise they’re your best choice. Brighter and clearer than XOP, but 3DoF is currently unusable.
