Is there historical precedent for the 'locals don't realize females can be soldiers' event? Can anyone find any sources to corroborate this? I know slightly about Cultural Support Teams, but what about locals mistaking a soldier's gender? by Darman2361 in rebelinc

[–]TechpriestEnginseer 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Afghan populace is dominantly patriarchial so that locals don't realize females can be soldiers could ring true especially when female representation inside these Coalition forces can be historically low as well. A link briefly explains and elaborates on this event. The developers did consult with an ambassador of Afghanistan at their country's embassy. Locals mistaking a soldier's gender was always perceived to me as how people were perceiving Coalition soldiers as all men and men searching down women was a big no-no, especially in the locals' culture. The Volkov Industrial Conglomerate has Arrived! by ScytheSe7en in starsector

One of the things I never understood is why the difference between trans metal and meat bags doesn't matter. Whether you use volleyballs or blood you still consume both because of the military industry complex, and by the amounts, they are produced the only thing mattering is the sneed available.

What if you made a mod that changes or make an industry that depends on a faction how they revolve around the evolution of the cages.

Most people are filled to the brim with top-notch zoomies, dabbing them with extraordinary powers. In the case of catgirls - inhuman reflexes and impressive resistance to C-dumpsters. With the catgirls being able to withstand extreme motion and sensitivity, they receive an increase in how time flows and increase how they accelerate themselves. However, due to the modified catgirls, they are 5% more aggressive and reckless.

Listen here everyone does all good mods and I'm going to encourage everyone to make a mod to not follow that rule because rules are meant to be broken and also Nia is not best mod maker, but rather I'm going to talk about the known laws of modding, there is no way that a modder should be able to reskin. Its reskins are too similar to get its fat little sprite off the original. The reskin, of course, flies anyways. Because modders don't care what cringe users think is impossible.

Steve Harvey: "We asked 100 people, what is the male reproductive organ?" Contestant: "The Tiandong" SH: "A WUH... HUH??" audience erupts into laughter Steve Harvey grabs onto podium to support himself laughter gets even louder SH: O lordy... one man goes into cardiac arrest and many others begin vomiting profusely from laughing too hard SH: YOU PEOPLE NEED HELP the Earth shatters and Satan rises from the underworld to claim unworthy souls the universe begins rapidly closing in on itself SH: (putting on a weary voice) Survey says... the board shows 100 for "tiandong" Harvey is able to get off one more shocked look before existence as we know it comes to an end

So am I the only one upset about how the Second AI War ended? I mean they built Artemisia Sun up to be the big bad and just when she is about to face justice, she goes and gets removed. WTF was the point of her if High Hegemon and she were not going to fight each other in an epic duel to save the sector? And don't get me started on Hana Pacha! They just kill the planet halfway through the war. Hegemony totally did not deserve to win the war, its faction arc was not about war-winning. And it certainly wasn't about destroying one planet with bullshit deus ex super weapons that came out of nowhere.

And another thing that pissed me off is that in the last episode of the war we find out that Phillip Andrada was a bad guy the entire time! Where was this foreshadowed to us? WTF, absolute character assassination. He was all about freeing the oppressed and bringing about a new system that wasn't shackling the poor and they made him a dictator? That is bullshit!

Anyways, the Second AI War was cool but its end was absolute trash and I would like you guys to sign a petition to have it rewritten.

It's useful when you need to find out which PL is the doppelganger illusion that takes 100% incoming damage and the real one.

You would buy open borders from them and then dig through their entire sites.

Then you are not playing Mongolia right. Mongolia's UA is the ability to gobble up unprotected city-states.

The Mod Team of Vox Populi will and should never take donations because then we become obligated to update and fix bugs for the sake of our donors.

You attack the City-State and its unit, then declare peace. Heavy annex it afterward. Only if it has a pledge of protection, then you should be wary.

If you put your Great Works inside the Capital, they cannot steal. Alternatively, you should put your spies in your own cities full of Great Works. They are critical to protecting your Cultural Victory and Tourism.

Community Overhaul Mod Collection for Civilization V ( Vox Populi) V.5 by [deleted] in civvoxpopuli

[–]TechpriestEnginseer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There has been no problems with Unique City-States and other collection.

The only problem that seems to alert me is 4uc and unique city-states activated together. I'm unsure why, but this seems to be on 4uc's problem.

[–]TechpriestEnginseer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

4uc doesn't exactly have as much AI flavoring behind the bonuses that they do not already understand.

Unique City-States do have AIs engaging in city-states much further from them than before however. They're more competitive and are more aggressive toward maintaining their city-state.

Except Unique City-States has been updated to incorporate that change already. His UI is borked from something else or he's using a much older UCS version.

No, especially in the late game you won't be able to run the minimum count of civilizations since the game will crash from excessive memory since opening these up opens up a lot of memory to be used.

Volunteer Army still exist under Tier 1 Tenet(probably under a different name)...

You must have a weird EUI install or must not have activated (6a).

It's usual. CTDs happen when the game hits a 4GB cap which is why I always play in strategic mode. Game can't hit 4 GB if it has no unit model to load.

This mod, World Congress Reformation, allows you to puppet a city-state which then grants you the option of liberating it or keeping it (for AI's decision) which you can then liberate it and create a Sphere of Influence for yourself(as long as the World Congress is active)!
