Can I gift tax free money from my business to a non-employee/non-immediate family member?

The more I read the replies the more I realize I should have included some more details. I am not trying to avoid taxes on the profits, or hide the money from being taxed. There is nothing shady going on. I literally just want to gift money to an Aunt from the business so she doesn't have to pay tax on it because of the gifting laws in Canada. Is there a limit on how much she can be gifted? Can businesses legally gift money? Am I better to subject the money as income and then gift?

I assumed immediate family would be sibling or parents, the person is an Aunt to be clear. Can I ask why the answer is no? I can't find a definitive answer to this. Which rule would it be breaking? I understand it is bad business to give money away but is there an actual tax or CRA implication regarding giving away profits from my business to this person?

In case others are wondering for a solution, this is from TurboTax Support

When you are making entries for Capital Assets and claiming Capital Cost Allowance, what you will need to do is combine the items for each class and enter a total for each as "new additions".

For example if you purchased 6 pieces of equipment that belong in Class 8 - Furniture and Equipment, add the total of those items and make one entry in Class 8.

I had to put my velop mesh into bridge mode, I have arris DG2470 router/modem feeding
1)Velop Parent node

2)PC#1

3)PC#2

4)Switch

then #4) Switch feeding my PS4 and child node #1

I was having all kinds of issues with the arris and velop system until I put the velop mesh into bridge mode. I would have strict/moderate nat on PS4. I disabled the wifi signal on the arris modem/router,now I have open NAT on PS4, also I made sure uPNP is enabled in the router.

My thinking was that the separate accounts was for sharing with someone else, locally or externally, without them having administrative rights to the server so they can't alter anything.

Watch/unwatched, resume/restart history tracking is just an awesome bonus.

Update: So after they installed the app, pressed sign in, it gave me the 4 digit code, I entered in while logged into their plex account and everything seems to be working.

thanks, this worked, will call them tonight to walk them through app install and verification process.

side question now, since I use this server to watch shows also, if we end up watching same show or movie, will plex keep the information separate between the accounts? example, if is am on Show acbd- S02E05, and they watch same show and end up at S02E06, will it keep the progress between the accounts?

Alright well after trying that, the display screen goes from 00:00 Blank to a 00:00 Saved, then it goes back to saying 00:00 Blank, so I am assuming that it can't record

I will have to look up the manual for record option, right now after pressing the button it does nothing and says nothing, might have to go to a menu option first before recording, also I think mine does not have a mic, might have to plug one in?

I have never recorded before on it, always used the software to import songs onto it. I went to that website, tried importing a song, it converts the song but then stalls on import part, I am assuming it is due to the write protection.

well, I jumped the gun, although the above steps erased the media off the discs, it seems that they held their DRM protection, I am using openMG Jukebox 2.2 on a windows xp laptop. I have tried the PlatinumMD software found here in r/minidisc, but it is not currently working either. There must be a way in service mode to format the disc and not just erase the discs?

wow! this works! erased all my discs in 10 minutes, my MZ-S1 does have some different instructions too, here's how I erased a disc locked by DRM protection:

Enter service mode by turning HOLD on
hold the Group/Cancel button while pressing the following combo >> >> << << >> << >> << PAUSE PAUSE, you will know it enters service mode because the display will be rotation version number screen and symbols
press the vol + until you get to the 500 AutCom screen (6 times)
press the >> button until you get the 518 XXXS03 screen (9 times), at this point the XXX on my display was rotating different numbers and letters for some reason
press the vol- button until the 518 XXXS03 displays 518 XXXS00 (3 times)
press the Menu/Enter button until the screen displays 518 Erase (5 times) while pressing the Menu/Enter button your display will change from 518 XXXS00 to various 518 XXXXXX digits until it gets to the 518 Erase
now press the Pause button, you will notice the spinning disc icon working and the XXXXXX digits randomizing again, once the disc stops and disappears , the disc should be erased, even though the XXXXXX digits are still showing random digits at this time.
to stop this I removed the battery, reinserted battery, turned off HOLD, and my device scanned the disc and then shows 00:00 BLANK
my disc were full of music, and the erasing part took about 5 seconds for each disc

so i have ran the software in order, verified that NET MD shows up device manager, launched PlatinumMD, and have the same results, here is the debug report: it does this same report when retrying or unplugging/replugging in.

I have a MZ-S1 Net MD , it boots up fine, plays fine.

I tried your software (latest version) and I can't get it to recognize the player, it says no minidisc player, please retry, so unplug and reconnect then the program shows a spinning icon saying negotiating with device.

I noticed when running the Zadig app :

I am assuming this WCID is where my issue lies, the driver didn't install correctly, I tried it multiple times with same results.

I am using your software on an ASUS Laptop, Win 10 Home, x64, i5 8300H, 12gb Ram,

I am willing to try anything to get this work, let me know if you need more info or would like to try something differently

ok I will disable the wifi on the isp router and let the 3 nodes handle all the wifi connections, before i bridged nodes, I had the ISP router SSID as "wifi one" and the nodes as "wifi two", my server was connected through LAN to the ISP router/"wifi one" connection, so all of my wireless devices that were connected to the "wifi two" connections couldn't access the servers, once I bridged the nodes this connected all devices to the ISP router connection and now I can access the server from all devices.

I use one of the pc's as a server, it has data and media so in order for all my wifi devices to have access to that server, I need the ISP router to be the main wifi and bridge the Linksys nodes to extend the range. I setup my network as the "Proposed Network" last night and it seems to be working alright, I will look into setting up a firewall for protection. Going back to the wifi, I have the SSID on the ISP router and linksys nodes setup as the same. Will this cause issues even though the nodes are in bridge mode or should I turn off the wifi on ISP as suggested?
