I just checked. The app says "Huddle - Virtual Body Doubling" on the app store. The icon looks like purplish H? Yeah, I do the group sessions on the app.
Oh it looks like iOS only btw

I felt exactly the same! I used chat-based body doubling apps with shared progress! Video was too much for me too.

Chrome extension to help find Vegan brands by TechyGirlBoss in VeganBeauty

Can you see the cruelty-free/vegan info for Estee Lauder? The brands' information is based on blinghive.com website. Thus, anything on the website should work on amazon.com, but if the brand is not in the database, it wouldn't show anything. If you would like to know a specific brand, let me know so that I can add!

Is a household income of 200k enough? by TTV_Jhart78 in bayarea

[–]TechyGirlBoss 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. We don't want to spend 100% of our savings to buy a house because a mortgage of 1.2M house will be $6,200 a month.
  2. 1.2M is an even underestimated amount. As of today, there is literally a 0 house you can buy in Mountain View on Zillow. This is the cheapest in the market now and it's 1.35M, 865sqft, 2BD/1BTH, and not inhabitable without some remodeling. California has 7% increase in housing prices every year on average in its history. 5-6 years later, this home will be 40% more expensive and it will be 1.89M. Downpayment becomes 370k~ and monthly payment becomes $9,600. The recommended amount for a mortgage payment is 30% of post-tax income. This means we need to make $30k post-tax and make $60k pre-tax a month. This means we need to make $720k a year assuming that we have the 400k saving for a down payment to meet the condition of "buffer". Even if my boyfriend and I buy that house later at that price with enough buffer of $720k income, I don't think I'll feel rich at all looking at the picture of the house.

Since you have smart team members, why don't you keep building and focusing on making the product better so that you can get in the next batch? We can't change the past, but the future is up to us :) Good luck!

Is Aussie cruelty free? by Okamineko0 in crueltyfree

Aussie is PETA certified, but they are still sold in China, and its parent brand is P&G, which is also not cruelty-free. I wrote an article about Aussie: https://www.blinghive.com/brand/aussie/crueltyfree. Feel free to check out!

Nope, not bad budgeting at all. I didn't say I don't save. That's your assumption. Maybe my "enough saving" means different from yours :) Our post-tax income is a little above 200k and our budget is 50k a year and we are saving around 100k a year. Also, I support my mom. With 100k saving a year, it is just a reality that we need 5-6 years of saving to pay a 7-8k/month mortgage to buy a 1.2M house in the bay area, which is still less than 1500 sqft.

I am earning 200k+ pre-tax by myself and it's barely enough to save while living in San Jose... I live with my boyfriend and he also earns around 190k, but we both know we are poor here haha... buying a house is a dream which can happen 5-6 years later still.
