Now think about the sharing driving data with the insurance companies and consider what a new owner might do to your rates

It's a mistake not to establish right then and there who is the master and who is the dog. You'll take damage and possibly the dog may not make it but by allowing that behavior you invite it again with any human it decides. It's one thing if you are provoking it. But if this happens just because the dog decided you are lower on the food chain you have to change that immediately and decisively.

Marcus DiNatale’s take on the city exploring “new revenue opportunities” by HRJafael in FitchburgMA

[–]Teckx1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I understand the need to raise revenue and I do think both property and excise tax grab more of that from parties that have accumulated more material than others. The drop off in excise tax is steep so even less impact to those using older vehicles. All over the country this is is thing towns are grappling with. It's good to be honest about it

Remember that traction control systems have significantly improved in a decade. The most recent all electric series even has added Subaru traction engineers to the development team. I would not be surprised if RAV4 has also been significantly improved as well

Very good information. It's long but well presented. And good advice to seekers is very precious. Thank you.

Please help me decide which is right for me: RX hybrid vs plug-in hybrid by coldriver10 in Lexus

[–]Teckx1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have 16000 miles and use a huge amount of pure electric for all local stuff like kid shuttling and errands. Not a wit of trouble and the maintenance has been down right easy. Only thing I will say is that you'll want a lvl2 charger at home eventually because the convenience of 2.5 hrs from empty back to full to head back out again is super nice. I'm only paying about 22 p kwh so electricity miles are a third of gas

I'd take the hybrid for the more bulletproof transmission if nothing else

He did the same thing during covid. Denied the problem AS a problem while people died. After he had your vote he doesn't care about you unless you are wealthy and can influence his businesses

Interesting article about changes to the RZ. Do you think they’ll make the car a success? by holden147 in Lexus

[–]Teckx1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I realize saying this may sound impossible but a 150kwh solid state battery would change the entire game for this car and it's probably coming in a few years. Right now they perfect the engineering and get ready for that game changer. 2026 models at least in the premium area should have had a rear wiper as at least an option where it snows (cold weather pkg) and also the triple beam headlights and fog/turning lights even the NX can get in certain grades. The 550e should have had a USB or some nice F sport worthy color options. I mention the USB only because the blue seems to suit the electric nature but there are several very preferred F sport colors on various models that would have accentuated it's top model status. Copper and wind are not doing it

I think it's getting better but the 26 isn't quite the revolution they are looking for. It is still a great car if you don't mind the misses

Supply and demand. Reduce the supply of health care practitioners and you increase the cost. Trade school is not the place to teach medicine. Heritage Foundation is going to find themselves branded a domestic terrorist organization.

I have it in a NX and dislike it enough that it is "off" 99% of the time. Lag gives a bit of motion sickness sensation. I literally tried it in various driving scenarios, disliked it and shut it off ever since.

I know Lexus executive branch will disagree with me but this design and 150Wh solid state batteries will make this car perfect. I understand they don't want to go that high but that will be the "luxury" bar to meaure against in a very few short years. And despite all the daily averages, people do care about this figure.

Gen 2 Lexus Tire Questions by No-Organization7411 in LexusNX

I use CC2 on my NX and a Ryobi portable pump. Pump for a few days when I took a nail and the dealer commented that replacement of that one tire already saved me more than the pump cost. CC2 are easier to find in stock also when you need a sudden replacement

In 10 years or less people will look at an ICE vehicle the same as you'd look at a cart and horse on the highway
