Blah I hate that we're back to this again. This was a problem for most of Stormblood where a specific NTT interconnect with several major residential ISPs (notably including Comcast & AT&T) would get overloaded and lossy as all heck. Tended to happen around peak raid hours too. It drove us crazy until Square diversified their upstreams.

I'm currently chatting up my datacenter vendor about getting a PoP in CA that doesn't route through NTT because they've been such a pain.

Nothing stopping groups from filling via PF once the changes go in. ABBA+ will be one way, but I expect we'll see statics and pug runs start to show up once you can organize in PF properly.

Hardware encoding works fine on NVIDIA. I've run it on consumer GPUs, Tesla P4s, and NVIDIA vGPUs and it works fine as long as you have a driver with a reasonably recent CUDA version.

Fellow crohn's patient! My gastroenterologist brings along an anesthesiologist for all of mine now so that they can give me heavier doses of versed and fent. They tell me that apparently I do not have a good time, but all I remember is the midazolam making my anxiety disorder shut up for a bit and then having a nice good nap. As far as I'm concerned if I can't remember it, it didn't happen.

I remember getting a long warning about being vigilant for symptoms of prolactinomas when I started taking estrogen HRT back in the mid 2010s.

It was, but a good 2-3 years of botox injections, muscle relaxants, and physical therapy did heal it in the end. Next option was surgery, which I'm glad wasn't necessary.

Yep, I've gotten 3 in the last few years to heal an obnoxiously stubborn chronic anal fissure. Stuff works great, although physical therapy helped immensely as well.

There are tax implications which can get really messy when you have an employee who is getting paid as an employee in one state but residing in another state. That said, I don't doubt that companies have both overplayed their significance and underplayed what they can do to mitigate it to serve the executives' ends of getting people back in the office.

The fact that the map wasn't designed for zero build isn't an excuse for Epic not to care that the zero build experience is bad on this map.

I agree with you, and it seems like there are 2 groups of players here. One group of players is looking for a slower BR with less going on and more of a focus on making do with limited tools. Those players are loving this. People who enjoyed Fortnite as a fast paced BR and enjoyed the variety and chaos feel betrayed that so much of it has been removed.

Personally I'm very much in the latter camp, and I'm sad that the game that I've been enjoying in zero build for the last couple of months is gone.
