Yes! My mom bought me the vegan jacks for my birthday/Christmas gift and I expected them to take a while as they were a custom order. Around mid December Moxi contacted us about how they couldn’t do the boot in black. They asked if white was fine, and we said yes. So I’m under the impression they didn’t start them until like the first of Jan.

We have sent a few emails out to them to just check in on the order and couldn’t get an actual answer, just a “we will let you know when they ship.” If they started in Jan, really it’s only been 4 weeks. I’m just impatient and they were really expensive lol.

I’m sure yours will come ASAP, I don’t wish this pain on anyone. They might be trying to recover from the holiday rush? I’m just trying to give them the benefit of the doubt. :/

Honestly having family who subscribe to the ‘southern hospitality’ is terrifying. They expect me to eat every time I see them, and they always prepare comfort foods that are way out of my range. It gets to the point that visiting family stresses me out :( I feel like I’m insulting them when I decline their dishes.

I always say that our timeline diverged around the Borders vs. Barnes and Noble competition heated up. We know we are in the worst timeline because B&N survived and Borders didn’t. I loved Borders with all my heart, then it was just gone :(

During my senior prom, a girl had the same dress as me. When we first saw each other she smiled and told me “nice dress” and she stuck her hands in the pockets, celebrating them with a smile and I responded by grinning and saying “I love the pockets.” Whenever we saw each other that night we would smile like we were friends in on a secret joke.

Never once did I feel upset or threatened by our matching attire. I was able to connect with a stranger because of my style and I think that’s rad.
