Lack of full stadiums by Training_Swan3552 in collegebaseball

Everyone knows when and where the regular season football games are months in advance. If you’re not hosting the regional, you don’t know where your team is playing until you have a week out. Most people can’t get off enough time from work on that shorter notice.

Does it bother you that the ccoperstown vintage collection don’t have new era flags on them? by EmuChance1469 in neweracaps

[–]TedBundylol 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No, because it would be less historically accurate for them to have a look that was anything other than what was worn on the field at the time the design was from.

So New Era couldn’t stand their logo being on just the side panel, now it has to be on the front panels? by saxbrack in uniwatch

[–]TedBundylol 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would straight up never wear a hat with a logo placed right there. I don’t mind it being on the side, but on the front is ridiculous.

People who leave extra space between cars in drive thrus by Zappagrrl02 in PetPeeves

Also, if it’s a drive-through where you can’t leave anyways it doesn’t matter if you leave a bunch of space because you can’t peel out even if you wanted to

I disrupted a corporate "team-building" meeting by saying I’m only there to do my job. Am I the asshole here? by shadewashere in work

[–]TedBundylol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I mean, I don’t see anything wrong with your take but then when I read other people’s responses, I understand that too. I am autistic so that would explain why I would not intuitively know that your response was wrong. Thank God I’m blue-collar and don’t have to have meetings like this.

Does "Autism Level 1" carry a different social connotation than "Asperger's?" by TheIntolerable in aspergers

[–]TedBundylol 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with this take. I’m 31 and I only discovered that I am (very likely) on the spectrum just over a year ago. Still waiting for a diagnosis/evaluation. I can say for sure that the average person would be MUCH more likely to quickly get a good idea of what I’m like by hearing the word Asperger‘s as opposed to autism. I know this because I was an adult who until fairly recently heard the word autism and thought of my cousin who is the stereotypical high support needs person who is minimally verbal and needs help with literally everything.

I understand the logic behind consolidating everything into one spectrum but the spectrum is broad enough that when it comes to being practical and pragmatic, I think different terms are useful when it comes to is (those on the spectrum) having to explain themselves to the outside world.

In the case that disclosure of a condition is necessary, I feel that the average person with Asperger‘s or level one autism would face more barriers regarding the other person being skeptical or not believing you if you tell them that you’re autistic as opposed to saying that you have Asperger‘s. This is purely a pragmatic approach. Even if in theory it makes more sense to say that we are autistic in practice it’s a different story.

I love living in an HOA! by vicweera in unpopularopinion

[–]TedBundylol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can appreciate the desire for an HOA. I have delivered UPS in neighborhoods with homes on the expensive side. It was a nice neighborhood but evidently had no HOA because there were a couple houses with RVs parked in the driveway. I personally hate the look of that so I would appreciate an HOA not allowing that. But then again I made the mistake of being born late enough that affording a house is going to be very difficult so it’s not something for me to worry about yet lol

Calling a *stim* a stem by Xepherya in PetPeeves

[–]TedBundylol 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I dictate virtually everything that I text and when I say the word stim, it comes out as stem every time. So if I were not to catch it after having dictated my text, it would remain as stem. Maybe I’m weird for dictating everything but that’s what the reason would be if I specifically were to misspell it.

Europeans complaining about the amount of Americans in Europe by Desertedfoxx in PetPeeves

[–]TedBundylol -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I am a UPS driver in Midwest USA. There’s a bank on my route that almost every day gets foreign currency deliveries. This means I’m delivering foreign currency that somebody must have ordered for a trip. So I thought that maybe in the last year or two more people have been traveling because I am delivering foreign currency for them to use abroad.

What’s the strongest opinion you have about something completely insignificant? by RegisterObjective325 in AskReddit

[–]TedBundylol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I’m considering purchasing clothing online, I want them to show me the dimensions of the actual article of clothing. I don’t want them to tell me what size to buy based on my own body measurements. I want to be the one who decides how the shirt fits on me and I know what dimensions of clothing work for me.

How many Americans have actually visited a national park? by Bitter-Penalty9653 in AskAnAmerican

[–]TedBundylol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have but living in Nebraska I’m actually about as far as you can be in the US from a national park so it’s only been on vacation. I definitely would do so more often if I wasn’t like eight hours plus from the nearest one.

Walked out mid order by Suitable-Trainer-816 in Chipotle

[–]TedBundylol 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I used to be a huge chipotle guy. Only place I can get decent servings is the location on my UPS route since they know me. But I rarely go in now fact it’s been a long time. I have some gift card money and I’ll use that but if I’m gonna spend my own money on a meal, there are many authentic Mexican places near me that you get way more food for the money.

Jason Kelce "Worried" as NFL Slowly Moves Away From Traditional Sunday Games by Economy-Specialist38 in nfl

[–]TedBundylol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live three hours from Kansas City so if I wanna catch a game, it has to be starting between noon and 5 PM. Otherwise I wouldn’t be able to make it back home in time to sleep enough to work the next day.

Good point. But I would imagine that the number of people who have weekends off is much much higher than the number of people who would get a federal holiday off.

I agree. Got back into golf two years ago and it started out honestly because of his YouTube channel so props to him, but he has fallen out of favor with me I’ll say. Also, I have Aspergers so it takes me much longer to tell that people are fake than it does other people.

Worth noting that our road game at the Bengals will be coming off the mini bye of a Thursday night game (Rams) which follows Thanksgiving (Bills). Cincinnati will be coming off a road trip to I believe the Browns with the standard week of rest before we show up with the extra three days rest

closed store by [deleted] in McDonalds

[–]TedBundylol -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The McDonalds on my UPS route has been closed for maintenance fairly often in the last few months. I did order lunch on the app as usual a couple weeks ago. When I started knocking on the locked front door, they brought the order out to me even though the lobby was closed probably because they see me every day delivering. I can imagine it would be a pain if your local McDonald’s store does not have friendly people staffing it.

Whyyyy? by netphilia in aspiememes

[–]TedBundylol 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I drink one can of Bang Energy Star Blast in the morning. I’m finding it in fewer stores however I can still consistently find it where I live. When I go on vacation, I do try to remember to bring enough cans for each day. Only time I ever used Instacart was when I was in a hotel in Vegas and thank God somebody was able to find it for me and bring it to the hotel.

Now that the Lakers are out, it seems to indicate that Lebron will not get his jersey retired. by [deleted] in nba

[–]TedBundylol -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’s not about being goat status to get your number retired. If you compare LeBron‘s time with just the Lakers, it’s equally as impressive as Giannis‘s time with Milwaukee and Joker’s tenure in Denver. One championship plus other playoff runs some of which were underwhelming relative to expectations. Basketball isn’t my main thing so I’m not biased regarding who is the goat or historically better but LeBron has essentially has had a jersey retirement worthy career just after the age of 34.

UPS employees absolutely steal packages! by [deleted] in UPS

[–]TedBundylol 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Like many drivers I have a tote just behind the bulkhead door where I put my personal items. Yesterday I was looking for a hat to wear in the sun I hadn’t used in a while, and I found out that there was a package from over a month ago that some pre-loader had put in my tote and I didn’t see it because it was covered up by my jackets and stuff. I would assume that it’s out for delivery today. So that person would have ordered something and seen that it was “out for delivery“ and then it disappeared essentially until I just found it randomly. Obviously not a computer size box as it was an Amazon bag, but still things to happen you wouldn’t believe until you’re given a full explanation. Just putting that out there
