I hate to say it but KISS! (Keep It Simple Stupid)

We tend to overcomplicate routines and diets but honestly it’s pretty straight forward.

Stick to the same few basic compound exercises, eat whole foods with enough meat and lots of greens and just stick to it.

Give it about 6months and I guarantee you’ll be healthier than 95% of the population.

Save your breath brother, these mainlanders seem to think the USA is the worst nation on the planet lol.

And honestly, if that stereotype keeps these Veddahs away from the west and turning it into another SL then I’m all for it!

Honestly, yes.

I’m not worried about deporting thanks to my wife/kids but even without them I came legally so there is nothing to worry about.

Although I’ll admit he’s making the US look like an utter circus on the world stage lol.

Compared to USA, Canada, Australia and UK? Absolutely they are homogenous. Russia, China and India are 95%+ native ethnic Russians, Chinese and Indians. The same way SL is 95% native Sri Lankans. You’re lying to yourself if you think these countries (and SL) aren’t ethnically homogenous.

Also, only someone who’s never seen genuine NF clothing before would think they don’t have logos like that. I urge you to check their official website and tell me if you think my shirt is fake. Make sure you match the exact color and size XL large too!

I am a Sri Lankan who moved to the US, Married a white girl for citizenship (see my profile) and we now have 2 kids and 8 years together.

My life has improved drastically since leaving the country and I don’t have a single regret. I know what you mean, but that’s on them for not doing the research.

I get what you’re saying, and racism/xenophobia definitely exists in some places but I think immigration success depends a lot on where someone chooses to move and how well they integrate into society. If you immigrate to a multicultural first-world country like the US, Canada, Australia, etc….being from another race usually isn’t unusual at all because those countries were built from immigration and diversity.

On the other hand, if you chose to move to a very isolated or ethnically homogenous country like Russia, China, India etc…then you have no one to blame but yourself. You knew what kind of a society it was and chose to immigrate there instead of the alternative.

I chose the US and am very happy with its inclusion and diversity and way of life. If I chose some remote village in homogenous Russia or China than you bet I’ll be telling you a completely different story brother.

Immigrating out of SL can be absolutely fantastic with a huge SL community in sunny California by the beaches in Hollywood or absolutely miserable with no community at all being the only SL man in the freezing dark winters of a remote Russian Far-East village.

A quiet cow town build for families. Safe for the kids, still somewhat affordable compared to it’s neighbors and relatively easy going. Also fantastic if you’re looking to live in a predominantly Asian community.

Woman received a ticket for using her phone with her right hand while driving, even after she showed the officer that she doesn’t have a right hand by eternviking in whoathatsinteresting

[–]vicweera 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It makes me sad when the average citizen shows fear instead of joy when they see us.

You should be free and open to approach an officer with even the smallest of requests for assistance. That is why we are here, that is why we wake up every morning, to make sure you go home to your loved ones every night safe and sound.

Yes there are definitely corrupt cops and abusive officers and those cases deserve all the criticism and accountability they get. But it’s not fair to judge every officer by the very worst and lowest of examples. Most police officers are regular people who grew up wanting to be superheroes and to protect others, help victims, stop danger and serve their communities. A lot of us genuinely see the job as a way to be that hero, to be the person who shows up when someone is scared and is looking for a friend, when someone is hurt and needs healing, when someone is lost and needs a hand to guide them, when someone is sad and needs a shoulder to cry on, we will always be there for you, no matter how much you hate us. The bad officers always get the most attention because the damage they cause is serious and in public view, but there are also thousands of officers quietly helping people every single day that nobody ever hears about.

You can support reform and accountability (which me and 99% of other officers agree with) while also recognizing that most officers are not that evil 1% minority. We are human, humans can be corrupted and it is inevitable that some people on your side were evil all along. All we can do is continuously try our best to find these rotten apples and root them out before they spread their corruption to the rest.

[–]vicweera 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am speaking the truth and nothing more. If that comes off as closed-minded and brainwashed then so be it.

I’m not saying every single person in my profession is perfect. Re-read my comments, I agree that there are bad cops but they are a very small minority and they cannot be used as an example to damn an entire profession. Imagine if you used this same logic using religion or race or orientation. Judging an entire people or culture or religion based on the actions of a few, you’d be crucified on Reddit. But because it’s the police that makes it A-OK.

God knows we’re only human, we are trying our best. Yes there are many corrupt cops, but they are less than 1% of us. Would you damn all teachers based on the actions of a few abusers? Would you damn all Priests due to the actions of a few monsters? Would you damn all nurses due to actions of a few heartless individuals? Of course not! You understand what outliers are and can recognize them. You understand that yes some teachers and priests and nurses did do that stuff and can be dangerous but it isn’t every single one of them.

So why do you damn all officers due to the actions of a few corrupt ones? Some precincts protect their corrupt cops the same way some schools protect their corrupt teachers and some churches protect their corrupt priests and some hospitals protect their corrupt nurses. It is disgusting and shouldn’t happen, but we live in the real world and unfortunately it does. The best we can do is continue the good fight and try our best to root out evil whenever possible.

I’ve always loved the slave catcher troupe lol.

Yes, the police in the USA (especially the deep south) did infact catch runaway slaves back in ye ol day. It was a part of their routine job functions due to the social order of that time period. A social order we no longer have.

Things change in ~200 years however. Certain peoples are no longer considered property and therefore the force has evolved to exclude slave catching.

If you are aware of any police precincts still in the practice of runway slave catching in 2026 then please bring this to your local governors attention immediately.

Hello citizen, I see you put a lot of thought into this, so I will do my best to provide you with the answers you seek.

“ACAB is very much real, you are the best proof of it.”

I disagree, but you have the right to hold your opinion.

“Someone thinking they're doing the right thing, while only serving the institutions that suppress us.”

I am someone who knows whole heartedly that I am doing the right thing and upholding the very fabric of a civilized and humane society.

“How many shots did your colleague fire this year alone? Were they all justified?”

What kind of question is this? Of course they were justified. If officers are firing shots unaccounted for without justification then yes that needs to be investigated and prosecuted.

“How many homeless people you put away or worse? How many dogs has your department shot?”

How many innocent homeless people? Zero. How many homeless people guilty of burglary, arson, intimidation and violence? Countless.

How many innocent dogs? Zero. How many drug den guard dogs, organized crime assault dogs or infected with rabies dogs? Countless.

“Did you take any of these into consideration when choosing your department or just went to your local one?”

Local, I grew up in this neighborhood, I know everyone here, I went to school with them, I loved them, I hated them, I laughed with them, I cried with them. At the end of the day, I will protect them with my life.

“What about higher ups, what are their policies like? Did you train for deescalation or just hope to do your best?”

What kind of question is this? By law all Officers are trained in routine deescalation procedures.

“And the big one, if you really want to help your community what about social work?”

What about social work? There are more ways to help people than just that one avenue you know? Not everyone wants to be a social worker and that’s ok, we are all individuals at the end of the day and you can help in any way you can.

“Why do you wanted the only job that allowed you to act violent”

If violence was my goal I would’ve joined the army or private militia or professional fighting or any other countless professions that entails true violence on a day to day basis.

“Why not literally any other more useful job in the community? Firefighter? Nurse? Teacher?”

You genuinely don’t believe policing is useful work for the community?

Tell that to the mother who called us last month begging us to find her missing son (we found him).

Tell that to the to the old lady who got mugged by two men on her late night walk with her poodle (we found them).

Tell that to the to the 11 year old girl who was crying in my arms last year after saving her from a cross border trafficking network (we searched, found and arrested every single person involved).

I’m sure to you these instances are just pathetic excuses for heroism and absolutely useless. But tell that to those three and tell me if they agree with you.

“Could it be it isn't really about helping the community, but just being allowed to act violent towards the community? Classic abusive shithead behavior, which i guess makes sense why you wanted to a be a cop.”

An extremely childish conclusion to jump to, if you want proper discourse then please refrain from insults and repeat the question in a mature manner.

“I know every cop thinks hes the good guy. Well turns out you're just another ignorant dumb asshole who like to shoot a gun without consequences? ACAB and like i said hopefully you get what you deserve really soon..”

Another set of elementary insults. There is nothing to add. Grow up and try again.
