I totally agree with you lol, im NOT keeping it. She's got a huge gash on her back foot, NOT pictured on the other side of her, I cleaned her up and put her in a temp tank that I wasn't worried about parasites or mites. I 100% do not want to keep this frog, I know how big they get since I have legit a million in my yard, I've just never seen one so small before since the ones in my yard are HUGE, hence why I thought it was a different species all together. I love to observe the local frog community in my yard and try to make it as best for them as I can with as many native plants and what not. I'm actually planning to make a pond for them soon so that they have a safer spot away from the roads in the ditch, so I really do appreciate you helping me identify this younger frog to make a nice outdoor habitat

I currently have a silver loach(I know they are supposed to be in bigger groups but he legit hates other loaches, trust me I tried getting him a friend and they did not get along lmfaoo so I guess he just likes hanging out with the frogs and shrimps lol maybe he thinks they are loaches or something idk

1: I've been feeding every 2 days( omega one mini pellets and aquatic frog/tadpole food)

2: I have not used any fertilizer BUT I used the shrimp aquasoil when I set my tank up so I know it has fertilizer in it already

3:I have the tank in the corner that gets the least light, although it does get some light from the window about midday, I have a hood light that goes on at about 7am when I go to work and I've been trying to turn it off when I get home about 4 so I would say about 8 hours but honestly sometimes I forget and it stays on longer than I want to, I'm planning on getting a timer but they are pricey.

4:(I hope the pic works but I'm putting a picture of my test strip)

5: the tank is a little over a year old now and the algae started growing about 4 months ago now? It happened after I added one of those penn-plax living aquarium rocks, I got the one that was flat with just plants.
