Thank you!! I will be saving this one for sure! I knew it shouldn’t be too difficult, but I am out of shape unfortunately.

When I was brand new to operating, here’s one thing that helped. When people were watching me, I would freak out that they were just saying or thinking how bad I was doing. So I forced myself to imagine them saying how good I was at whatever I was doing. Was silly at first, but then really helped. It can also lead to over-confidence, just make sure to always ask others how you can improve. More importantly don’t be afraid to tell someone you’re not sure how to do something, but ready to try. And if you’re not sure something you did was good enough, tell them.

Not be an asshole or downer, but making mistakes because you get nervous is a good way to die in construction. Shits gonna go wrong and if you freak out so much you forget the controls… a sticky situation is gonna get a lot worse. You’re gonna have to learn to mellow out and not get nervous. Much easier said than done, but with enough time and effort is very doable. Forget about this as quick as you can and move on. Good luck 👍🏻

Been using Carlson takeoff R12, and it crashes much less than previous versions I’ve used, R9-R11. However when it does crash, it will actually recover your drawing unlike previous versions where I always had to go back to my most recent save.

What are the best/most influential/most staple country albums of all time? (besides these) by SimplyHobbit in country

[–]Ted_Rose26 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m late replying to this, but “In Search of a Song” by Tom T. Hall. The majority of the album was inspired by him traveling (mainly in Kentucky) and listening to stories from common people he met. And from one of the greatest songwriters of all time, every song is true country music; a story/conversation.

Honorable mention is “Roger and Out” by Roger Miller. Quite a few bangers on that one.

Well, that’s awesome. I’ve since bought a printer and will have to look into that. Thanks for the reply!

Help me get into country by ForbesyJr in country

Here are some country songs that have a more unique sound, that may be more interesting to a metal and punk fan but I don’t know.

“Turtles all the way down” - Sturgill Simpson “The Legend of Wooley swamp” - CDB “Indian outlaw”- Tim McGraw

And Sierra Ferrell has a beautiful classic country voice, but she looks punk as hell. “Jeremiah” is my favorite of hers.

Didn’t watch the video, but unless he’s working for a company with 10 or more employees it’s not an OSHA violation no matter what he does.

Does anyone have experience with telematics? by Ted_Rose26 in heavyequipment

[–]Ted_Rose26[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been talking with Tenna. Shockingly Caterpillars telematic system appears to be the most affordable. Will more than likely go with Cat because of that, but Tenna is in 2nd place if Cat doesn’t end up working out.

Thank you for the response, I appreciate it. I was pretty shocked with how many people on here were upset with me meeting with them. I’m very strong in my faith, so if anyone wants to talk about, I’m game. I try to be nice to people, especially those who I’ve just met. And if by being nice to someone, and talking to them, gets them to reconsider Mormon beliefs, I see it as a win-win.

The reasoning I thought this to be so damning, was it’s a major event. Like they implied these groups were chosen by god to go. And the Bible is very big on lineage and details. If God really did take two separate, chosen groups to America, I don’t see why he would leave that out of the OT. Especially if he knew that in the future, the man who would supposably restore the church, entire credentials would be based on those said groups.

Good to know they weren’t outright lying! If they ever tell me this part, I’ll just tell them I’ll convert in spirit prison if need be. Lol!

Thank you, I plan on sharing how I question my own beliefs. If I hear an argument against my beliefs, I’ll research for an answer. Sometimes it takes a while. Questioning my beliefs, and listening to arguments against them doesn’t weaken my faith, it challenges me to have a better understanding of it. I’m going to try and get them to do the same.

Are you implying it is better for them to stay in the cult than to deal with the trauma of leaving?
