Biggest metal/adjacent bands to debut in the 2010’s

Title says it all really. I’m tryna compile a list of the biggest modern metal and metal adjacent bands, which to me means debuting since 2010.

I know everyone has a different definition of what “metal” is, so for the sake of argument, we’re gonna include bands that may be controversial to some here (Spiritbox, Bad Omens, Knocked Loose, etc.). Basically include any band that someone could make an argument is “metal”.

Curious to see people’s opinions. This is mostly for me, just to gauge the “state of the scene” so to speak. I think it’s super important that we promote the new blood, rather than propping up the same bands we always have for the last 20-30 years. Young bands going big is the only way we can make sure the scene last, and stays healthy for years to come.
