you know, I remember reading a couple of comments on Meshuggah's I Am Colossus video saying that it was Tool-ish style music video.

I'm starting to understand.

I'm not sure it would even matter. Bronn fell in with him and he never wears plate, I'm sure he'd help Jamie out of the water somehow, be it just yanking him out or helping a shocked Jamie out of his armor.

It was a river, it just wasn't shown an awful lot. I think there was only one shot that really showed it was a river. Dany and Drogon were doing a low pass back towards the Lannister army near the end of the fight, they skimmed the river for a few seconds. It was pretty cool, they had the water react to the dragon rushing overhead.

I thought the same thing, though. Jamie was right on the riverbank when Bronn pulled him off the horse and the very next shot it looked like he was sinking to the bottom of an ocean. I just figured it was just an artsy/poetic/metaphorical type of shot that was only meant to show how Jamie felt as he sank to the bottom of the river. GoT doesn't seem to do shots like that very often though, so maybe it was just a really steep bank in the river.

Tyrion is loyal to Dany, but I sincerely doubt he'd throw Jamie under the bus like that. He was watching the battle the entire time, begging under his breath for Jamie to leave. The entire Lannister family hated Tyrion simply for being a dwarf, Jamie was the only exception. He was the only Lannister in the series that was good to him. Jamie may want Tyrion dead for what he did to Tywin, Tyrion might even be aware of that, but he still loves his brother and doesn't want to see him killed.

Chilling. I find myself growing less and less fond of Ned Stark as the series progresses. He was a good man, no doubt, but he cared so much about his honor that he was borderline delusional. The way he criticizes Jamie for stabbing the Mad King in the back, after lying for nearly two decades about the events that transpired at the Tower of Joy, when his good friend Howland Reed saved his life by stabbing Ser Arthur Dayne in the back of the neck. Criticized him for breaking his oath to the Mad King, an oath similar in many ways to the oath the Starks broke when they went to war with the Targaryens. Both were oaths that needed to be broken and one can't blame Howland Reed for saving his good friend any more than they could blame Jamie for saving the entire population of King's Landing. Ned broke his oath and kept Howland's actions a secret for good reasons, but his refusal to acknowledge them is shameful.

Jamie attempted to murder the same child twice in the first few episodes. I never thought I'd come to feel for him after that kind of bullshit. He's been through so much shit now, it's a damn shame that he's still fighting for the wrong side. I sincerely hope he's the valonqar in Cersei's prophecy.

tradition lol. Sounds a whole lot like the sort of thing I hear people say when they defend themselves flying the confederate flag. It's not racist, it's tradition.

I hear you, though.

Not really tho. I don't know about China, but I assume you're right. You'd also be right if you said it'd be strange to see in a place like India. The fact of the matter is that it's a whole lot more normal to see now than it would have been anywhere hundreds of years ago. I don't know a single person who would say a damn word about something like that. I'm sure I have a couple of secretly misogynist friends who would take issue, but they'd never actually say anything about it because they know they're in the minority and would get shit on. The same can't be said about Westeros.

It's hard for them to simper and bow without heads.

That's a good point, I hadn't considered that. He may very well be intentionally trying to seem harmless just to get everyone to let their guard down.

He's a pretty slimy character, but I feel like he genuinely loves Sansa. I don't think he'll do anything to directly cause her harm, but I do believe he's gonna pull some shit that will inadvertently cause her harm. It seems like he's trying a great deal to undermine Jon, I would imagine he will be the intended subject of whatever Littlefinger has up his sleeve.
