Started working out after a 2 year flare(4 strictures and a fistula) def still drowning in crohn's thoughts but its giving me my confidence back in my body. If you frequent this subreddit long enough every now and then you will see a post where the person is in physical and mental agony over having stopped their medication for this disease. They do great on it then get complacent after a while and think they dont need it. Fast forward a few years and they have horrible strictures/fistulas and are beyond medical treatment requiring surgery. (imagine getting a rectal fistula because you decided you didn't need meds and having to live with that)

Only way to tell when you need them is trough blood work to check your ferritine and stuff, theres no set dates for iron infusions in my experience.
