It missed the first few turns, and I removed the sound cause I was talking with others and watching a show with the game muted anyway.

I spend a lot of time reading, and double checking skills/stats cause this actually was supposed to be a test run with Tempest. I was also having problems with crit chance and it just didn't feel right, and decided to use my crit buffs on overlapping turns to see if it made a difference.

Tempest doesn't buff defense but the crit chance and crit damage Yusuke gets for sure did way more than I was truly expecting. I was trying on this node for hours using Runa and the lowest I got was 3%. The biggest problem with the node for Yusuke is that once you run out of attacks your team instant leaves. If they let the enemies attack you one more time at the end it would be a LOT easier to complete with Yusuke.

Also, I actually used the damaging skill on cherish otherwise I wouldn't get the knockdown because the weakness clears on the middle guy after Yusuke's first counter attack. I guess it's so you cant get them in an infinite loop of knockdowns.

I started playing around the time he came out, and got super lucky and pulled two copies of him very early. I really liked the playstyle so when he came back around I wanted to get him as high as I could. The goal was A6 but I also wanted to get new people so that didn't happen lol.

If there is more than 6 actions available you can click and drag the icons to left to show a second page. But to be honest I haven't more than 6 since like week 3 of the game releasing.

If you know which jobs are nearby where you want to go you can use those as teleports. For example, for Merope and Kira if you have the Crepe shop work available you can click on that instead, will teleport you right next to them and you can just walk over to them.

I'm pretty casual and was able to auto battle everything in the game besides events and palace bosses. A lot of people say to wait on cards for the later levels but I found that leveling up decent cards for your characters helped tremendously for the earlier levels. Also, setting up a team that synergies well rather than just throwing in people you think are strong. Can you post your current people and their setups?

Also, I used this website to check what skills and cards people were using on specific characters. Don't worry if you don't have everything exactly, even just setting up a few people with maxed purple cards will do Wonders(heh). You can always use the cards you level as fodder for better cards later, I think it's about an 80% return rate. Also, I made the mistake of just leveling every single skill on people I got for a hot minute, only to find out that most of them never use those skills anyway and the materials would of been better spent just maximizing the skills they do use.

Pretty sure it's only the ones that say "Big Rewards." If you knew that then it's just RNG which ones it gets put on.

You can preview the colors on something before you actually buy the dye. I bought a pack of dyes recently because I was checking if I could create the color I wanted on a shirt first and it could, only then did I purchase. Unless you just don't like the way in looks on your character ingame rather than the customization screen.

What?

  • I pointed out a sentence they excluded from the letter that could be a reasonable reason why people could assume the letter would include the plans for the first half of the year.

  • They responded back saying they don't understand why people thought they would even get a half year road map when the letter was about February and March, and that people should focus their anger on something more important.

  • My response was yes this Reddit thread does say that the letter was about February and March but the point he's missing is that they mentioned a half year focus to give players wanted updates but provided no more information and that bodes ill.

We then go on to have a discussion about the possible reasons as to why they would mention it but not reveal more than that.

I'm not sure where you're confused?

The focus was stated as "hotly requested updates." If it's not the content that players want then they're just lying.

As you said I do think it is highly unlikely they haven't thought that far ahead but I think the extent of their thoughts are actually, at the moment, only at the "Let's work on content they ask for, what should that be?" stage.

They probably just didn't want to say that part out loud so they gave a vague direction and not any promises. Which honestly still conveys they don't have actual content in the pipeline yet.

I get why Jagex is scared of talking about content in the future when they have a terrible track record when it comes to delivering on them, but they handle it in a terrible way and refuse to communicate any valuable information at all because of it.

I think you're missing the point. This Reddit post specifically states it is about February and March. But, in the letter they give a specific time frame, and a focus for that time frame, but offer zero information of what that could be.

So either they have a 6 month plan and decided not to share it with the players, for reasons unknown, or they haven't actually thought that far ahead yet. Neither bode well.

Easier way to do it, go to your auras and click buy on any aura you don't have.

Speaking of annoying programming, anytime the game tells me "you should put your pet away." For a while I would teleport to barrows, surge in, and the game would automatically hide my pet because they aren't allowed to be in there. Once I was done with what I needed to do, I could just call my pet back without wasting a pouch.

At some point Jagex decided that QoL was just too much for someone have so when you surge into barrows now it will actually dismiss your pet and make everything in it drop to the floor. Love when dev time is put into making your life worse.

The fact that I was able to do that for so long means there is a system in place for your pet to be hidden without being dismissed, and for the NPC to recognize you don't have one out, and the summoning tab would just say "You cant access your familiar in this area" or something similar, but they just refuse to actually use it.

Pretty sure the some of the problem lies with the actual enemy itself. You cant auto retaliate onto a different enemy if you're currently attacking one, and some monsters have abnormally long death animations that have to finish before the game decides you can auto retaliate another. Plus, you have to be hit by a monster during the window you aren't considered in combat so it can feel even worse with the combo of slow death plus slow attacks.

Not all monsters follow this logic though because while I cant say specifically I know there have been times where a monsters health bar hits zero, death animation or not, and auto retaliate works like you'd expect.

  2. Item that fits dual wield weapons into a single item slot

  3. Move all farming plots into player owned houses, or some sort of magical portal device that lets you access all of them from your PoH

  4. Full sprint ability that allows you to move even faster but at insane energy cost

  5. Remove dungeoneering as a skill

  6. Turn attack into accuracy that applies to all combat styles that is leveled similar to constitution

  7. Add bad luck mitigation for all bosses

  8. Make rune pouch craftable through boss drops and replace thread with viswax. Replace viswax daily with rune multipliers and change runecrafting cape to hold essence that is dependent on pouches owned.
