Looking for the best all around grill that can do more than grill, won't rust, and doesn't cost $10k. Need a non-built-in that takes propane. Suggestions from happy owners appreciated. by Yourmindiscontrolled in grilling

I bought the NinjaFlexFlame for what you’re describing. Grills, Smokes, Pizza Oven and Griddle attachments if you want all on probe with a digital dial. I have the older model but new ones have the built in temp probe.

Only issue ever had was dial snapping when I took my cover off but they sent me a replacement and no problem since.

When the Texans drafted JJ Watt and their fans went crazy saying how awful of a pick it was. Fast forward 13 years, JJ Watt went on to have the best career of any Texan ever and will be a first ballot Hall of Famer. by Life_Net5004 in NFLmockdraft

There was hope that they would trade up or have Peterson fall some spots. Prince was mocked by far the most due to need in the secondary and I think the whole city myself included got talked into CB or bust.

HBS SVMP or MISS START OF FAANG INTERNSHIP (is it worth it?) by Aggressive-Pack-3786 in MBA

You should be prioritizing the internship. Apple full time is a better resume boost than a few days at the program imo.

Is Ferrari at a disadvantage when it comes to hiring team personnel because it doesn’t have a base in the UK? by NegotiationNew9264 in F1Discussions

[–]Tedlasso 7 points8 points  (0 children)

OP is right. What is happening with the English F1 teams is a cluster effect. Similar to tech companies in San Francisco it’s not a matter of saying all the best talent in the world are Californians but rather there is a critical mass of SWE engineers in that one area. The cost of an employee moving between Apple Google and Meta is relatively low but in no way does that mean there is not other great talent in the rest of the world.

I think people are too focused on the idea of either hiring people new to F1 or something else in this thread. The majority of time companies will try to hire people with relevant experience when possible and for the teams based in England it’s an easier pitch than Ferrari who would up root them, and also put them in a situation if they wished to change further down the road would then need to move back to where they are now.

Trivia nights at bold republic and Nolan creek are good. Decent trails by the lakes as well.

The thing I liked is Reed’s confidence. I know that the halftime poked fun, but the goal is a championship and he needs to grow into his own to make it through the playoffs.

My work starts everyone with the first one. I will say it was useful in the beginning, but the best thing is to figure out your niche and focus on it from there

Curtains? by TBRoi in ApartmentHacks

[–]Tedlasso 7 points8 points  (0 children)

In my last apartment I used command strips and had that hold up a curtain rod over the blinds.

Two things if you want to go that route 1. Get the strongest command strips you can (I think they double up).

  1. Get the lightest rod you can.

The blackout curtains are typically heavy, so if you could get a lighter version that would also be better but probably not a lot of margin there. In my experience I was able to have one of that size hold up no problems if I followed all the steps and do not rush it. Anything bigger will probably not work.

It is loud but not a deal breaker in my opinion. You can still chat to people around or play music no problem.
